Used this Umbrella for my trip to Disney World, it helped so much from the sun I felt cooler instantly, this is a must buy for the fussy toddlers that get fussy about the sun . My 4yr old used it the most while waiting in line .I have nothing but great things to say will be buying another for hubby who requests his own.

I just received this and have only tested it briefly, but sitting out in the sun using this umbrella I felt noticeably cooler - it's instant shade, basically. I also compared it to a regular lightweight umbrella. The regular umbrella filters the sun so it's more comfortable than direct sun, but this is definitely cooler than the regular umbrella. Love the design of this umbrella. I use it on the hiking trails when there is sun exposure as well as in the park. It arrived promptly and I highly recommend it.

I wanted to like this item, but it broke in less than a week after I purchased. I was only able to use it once. After that, the umbrella would not stay open, or collapse and close. I will purchasing another umbrella.maybe a different brand.

The umbrella works well, but I have issues when the wind picks up. The hand grip has slight finger groves to improve your grip, but when a strong gust comes out of nowhere, you'll struggle to keep ahold of the umbrella. The wrist loop doesn't fit me comfortably either.

Love the colors and design on the inside of this umbrella. the size and weight are ideal for handling and the protection against the sun is essential. Nice purchase!

I have not gotten to use this yet because it is in my garage opened up to air out. It's been 2 days and the chemical smell is still very noticeable and horrendous. I will not be able to handle it close to my face, which is where it will be when I use it for summer events I will be attending. I sure hope the smell goes away soon! Good lord.

Our daughter got married outside on a hot, sunny day in Denver. There was shade for her and the groom but none for the guests. I bought 10 of these umbrellas and nine were used for people and one to keep camera equipment cool. These are infinitely better than regular umbrellas which almost seem to magnify the heat. The best item I took with me for filming as an extra on the hit TV series, "The Chosen". Recommended to the extras before we went by those who have previously used it allowed us to stay cooler between takes of filming "The Feeding of the 5000". Without it, the 105 heat indexes would have been unbearable. It withstands strong wind and while it is a little heavier to carry than a non UV umbrellas it is well worth it. The only thing I would change is to put my name on the top of it in bold letters

Very good for blocking uv. I also use this on hot rainy days. You will feel a lot cooler while walking with this in the heat.

I have used my umbrella for months now in Vegas to avoid some of the summer sun and heat. If made it a lot easier to walk in the 100 plus heat.

I liked the colors. It worked well for Sun protection. However, it got wet and rusted inside. It was open to dry and it still rusted. It also has some issues with wind. If it’s slightly windy, it will start to flip inside out. Not a huge deal with that, but the rusting shouldn’t have happened after one use. Will not order again.

I haven't used it yet. Looks nice. Not light weight. I did not check the size well according to my own needs and meant for a smaller item just for sun so, my mistake. It's quite huge for an umbrella. Make sure you check measurements to suit your needs.

We had an outdoor event we needed to be at and it was recommended that we get UV umbrellas. I chose these mostly because they could get to us in time. I was suprised by how much sun they actually blocked. We were extras in a show (The Chosen) and were outdoors in Texas with minimal shade all day and these 2 umbrellas did great! They worked so well I'm thinking about buying the bigger version.

It helps to reduce heat. It is very sturdy. Fyi: the umbrella smells really bad for few days. It took more than 4 outings in the sun to get rid of the smell.

A little perplexed… I purchased this umbrella for sun protection but the instructions of care say to "store the umbrella in a cold dark place like a closet. Direct sunlight or heat will cause problems to your umbrella…”.How was just umbrella protective to the sun and the dangerous raise if it’s supposed to be kept in a closet and out of the sun? Functionally a worst quality umbrella I bought. Wish I returned it. Material’s thick. Hard to close it once opens it. Doesn’t close it neatly. Often it pops up suddenly while you force to close it.

Bought this for my mom. The umbrella is not very heavy, but it was heavy enough for her to complain about wrist pain when using it. She also had a hard time closing it. A bit too hard for her. But overall it's a good umbrella. I had to return it.
