The holes perfectly match the indentations on the front bumper of my 2016 Legacy. I ended up drilling 2 more holes to match the 2 holes that came with the kit, slightly lower on the plate to create 2 additional mounting points for stability. It was too far from the bumper because of the rubber "washers" so I removed them. This created an issue where the top screws were sticking out too much and grazing against part of the chrome grille.
