It worked fine for several months.

This product has worked well. It was plug and play and only worked for my webcam. For several months. Then the video problems started. It was nervous and had disturbances. Then after 2 months it just stopped. I went back and ordered a replacement. Let's see if this one lasts longer. If not, I will update my review.

worked fine when it worked

I bought this to use with my HTC vive VR headset because the room my computer is in doesn't have enough space to do VR to play. Worked great to extend my USB cable 100ft to another room but as other reviews have mentioned it started lagging / intermittent / having connection issues after 6 months. After I swapped out the ethernet cable I was using (it was bought new at the same time as this extender) it started working again. Well, about 10 months after purchase, and it finally died, theโ€ฆ

Really good but with some limitations

I love this product, it installs quickly and is incredibly easy to use, but there is a trick I haven't figured out yet. Most of the devices I've tried work fine with this USB hub. I use this hub to extend the USB port from my office gaming computer to my living room where I have connected a wireless HDMI extender for video so I can play and watch movies in my living room without a game console. Anyway, for the USB hub I'm using the pre-installed cat5e I have at my house, I'm assuming it's onlyโ€ฆ

Cons

Waiting for the hubs to arrive

Great in theory and all, but if you get a brick out of the box you'll never be happy. Refine "remote" box does not work. I plug it in and none of the lights come on, so I'm assuming it's just a bad connection at the PSU input, although that renders it unusable.

Works for my VR headset.

Used to extend USB 2.0 35ft with Cat6 cable. It does its job well and adds minimal latency. I wanted to avoid daisy chaining multiple USB 2.0 cable extenders as each extender acts as a "hub" and can increase latency. This allows you to add an extender that is also a 4-port hub. I use it for the USB extender for my HTC Vive (Virtual Reality HMD) and it works great. There are no lags, the built-in video camera works. Edit: After 2 years the machine stopped working. I've tried several known-goodโ€ฆ

Very happy - Hubs

Works great. I've had them for about a week now and they are really ready to go. They extend my PC's peripheral to my living room with 100ft UTP Cat6. I now have a full PC desktop in my living room with HDMI extenders for couch gaming (using a Steam controller), web browsing, streaming, etc. with full peripheral support from the comfort of my couch. I had no problems with the keyboard and mouse, steam controller, charger and mini USB from the end device. TL; DNR: Worked flawlessly as soon as Iโ€ฆ
