It's good for my purposes. I've had a bit of a learning curve. I've learned that I can easily bottom out the device and stop the rotation on slower speeds. However, it's easy to see so I can just ease up on the pressure to see the spinning pick up. Speed, type of grit and job, but basically ease up. It's making short and easy work of projects. Udpate: I wrote the dust collector bag works 'okay'. While the connector isn't great, it turned out the bag itself isn't that bad at all, it's just small and fills up quickly. If you do any serious woodworking, this is unacceptable.The feel is similar to Ryobi, worse than Bosch. And it's an ok value. For many uses, this could be perfect, but for me it's not. At low power it can stall. At high power it's much too aggressive. It uses a hook-and-loop and pads hold well. The power switch is a little awkward.

Purchased this to refinish our doors and dining table top. We found the sander to be efficient and easy to handle. An helpful dust catcher, and works very well. We did the sanding indoors and saw only a little dust on the table. Pads fit nice and snugg. Overall a good buy for the price.

This sander means business. It starts out at full throttle and keeps going even with pressure exerted. It comes with a nice selection of sanding pads in various grits. When it comes time to buy more, make sure you get the right size. This tool takes 5 inch pads. It has plenty of power. It will remove wood in a hurry, so be careful with it.

The sander works really well, but the vacuum attachments tends to fall off easily. I just taped mine in place after having it fall off several times.

I was not ready. I have a belt sander currently. I have started dabbling in redoing my hand-me-down furniture the last year, and decided an orbital sander would make life easier. I turned this sander on and it was like I had zeus's lightening bolt! It comes with 18 sandpaper pads. This works really well. I am not a professional by any means and I do this as a hobby. Goos price for thia sander. It is made very well and it is durable. Has a good speed on it and it has good weight so you don't have to put pressure on it. The whole look of it os nice and presentable.

I refinished a medium sized entryway. The pad on the sander base is poorly made and doesn't last. Now I get to spend another $10 for a replacement pad as well as adhesive to apply the pad.

This is very easy to use, lightweight and compact. Definitely some bang for the buck and perfect for any diy project you're working on.
