Description of Kreg KMA3700 ACCU-Cut XL Precision Tool

Break down panels and plywood easily and quickly with cutting capacity up to 100". Splinter-free cuts with tear-out protection from anti-chip guide strips. Make the cuts you need – anywhere – by taking your saw to the workpiece instead of bringing the workpiece to a fixed saw location. Easily attaches to your left-blade or right-blade circular saw, and removes easily. No clamps needed thanks to Anti-slip guide strips that keep the track in place through the entire cut.

The Right Caterpillar for Power and Hand Tools

I work a lot in the shop, but not enough to afford a $600-$700 chainsaw. Sheet metal cracks and other cutting requirements led me to this choice. The sled is the same as my Kreg leader. The route is well done. The key slots under the rail are compatible with any of my multiple Incra clamps when I need extra stability on longer cuts. The track extension was a great, albeit belated, addition.

Unfortunately not worth it.

well i wanted it to work. It was easy to assemble and set up, but it just didn't make straight cuts. The sled is plastic and doesn't fit the track snugly so it slides from side to side. And the anti-slip pads really don't do much. I would have to clean every time. I bought Kreg clips for him and had to use them. After tearing off about 10 pieces of plywood, I decided to return it. Not worth the money. I was better with a chalk line.

EASY FIX - Alignment and inclination of the carriage.

I'm so glad I bought this track. When assembling cabinets, I finally have very accurate cuts from long sheets of metal. Many complain about 1.) skid roll/wobble and 2.) track alignment. 1.) Add a thin strip of low friction tape ($5 on Amazon for 5 meters) to the side of the channels on the underside of the sled where it meets the rail. Instant smooth movement with no jerking. 2.) Bubble level using a high quality 6 foot aluminum bubble level. Have someone help you hold the rail pieces firmly…

Cuts smoothly with no breaks, I recommend 10/10.

A few people I work with swear by the Festool chainsaw system but I couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money DIY so I decided to give this Kreg- system to try . I have an old house with (7) doors that needed more than planning to open and close properly. I took them all down and out and set up my Kreg sawing system (use a 6ft level to join the pieces and you won't have a problem with crooked cuts). I decided to do a test run with a [used] 24 tooth blade just to see what it was, but I…

Works poorly with screw powered circular saws.

Does not work well with a reel powered circular saw. They need to be told what kind of circular saw it will work with. First attempt after assembling the rail, follow the instructions as best as possible. I've attached my saw to a carriage that seems to hold it, and the two small latches that screw into this plastic tighten without breaking. About halfway through the first cut, the saw began to slide off the carriage and cut deeper into the sacrificial strip. I noticed it before it hit the…

Not really! for circular saws Accessory

The name should be In-Accu-Cut because the connections between the segments cause a displacement of approximately 1/32 inch from one end to the other by 2 connected segments. This results in a 1/16 inch error along the entire length of the 8 foot cut. And yes, I followed the directions exactly, but after an hour of fiddling with this thing, I still couldn't figure it out. That's fine for rough woodwork (in which case you don't need to buy that thing anyway!), but if you think you're going to be

Surprisingly accurate for the price and construction at the moment.

This is exactly what I expected from a $500 chainsaw alternative. It was pretty easy to put together. So far in one project this has been very accurate, surprisingly accurate. But I see that the accuracy of the track decreases as it is saved, moved and collided over time since it is made up of 4 parts. You can take it apart for storage, but in my opinion the heads of the set screws are just the tip of a #2 Phillips head and I don't think they will hold up to many reassemblies before the…

Not a bad product from this brand.

This is one of those products where you read five good reviews and one bad one and think one bad review is wrong, but it's correct. This is not a good product. I was concerned about accuracy, but for my needs, accuracy really didn't matter. What's really important is that the rail sits on the board you're cutting and doesn't have a clip or retainer to hold it in place. A couple of C-clamps might help, but that's not surprising. The tray that the saw rests on is plastic and not durable. The rest
