PERFECTION - Personal Protective Equipment

such a great hood. The large field of view comes in handy when welding, and the clarity of the 4c lens is unrealistic. I have used the 3350 at work for the last 2 years and in my opinion it is the best helmet on the market.

Great hood. for personal protective equipment

Everything is fine in the hood, excellent clarity, excellent functionality. The headgear is pretty cool, but it takes a little getting used to. There is an external grind button so you can remain as productive as possible for your business. Contrary to what others have written. IN GRINDING MODE, A LIGHT SHALL INDICATE YOU ARE IN GRINDING MODE, so if you accidentally hit the arc while in grind mode, you won't see plasma images from another dimension of the space-time continuum. Great hood, great

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

$50 Lincoln discount is a scam

The helmet has good features, works well and is very light. The price is a bit high for a welding shop, but I like it. As for the discount, I presented proof of purchase to Lincoln shortly after receiving the helmet. A few weeks later, Lincoln informed me that my sales receipt was the wrong "format". So I sent them the order file in JPEG format. It's been several months and I haven't heard from them and no discount has been given. This is a scam to increase the number of purchases. I will never

Terrible headdress. Doesn't stick, keeps dangling!

Auto darkening helmet and lenses are great, look very nice. However, the headgear is complete junk. The little handle on the back designed to tighten the hole on the head doesn't work at all. Complete garbage. It just keeps popping up. The helmet just falls off your head when you lean or turn around. It drags on for a few minutes, then it just loosens and the crank spins all the way out without warning. Lincoln should be ashamed of this shit. It doesn't matter how good a helmet is if it doesn't

  • Great fit for me

  • Great price

ESAB Sentinel and Lincoln Viking

I have a Lincoln Viking and ESAB Sentinel. Both helmets have 4c Clear technology, the lighting in both helmets is very sharp and clear. I prefer Lincoln ESAB because Lincoln is much stronger and ESAB tends to warp the front lens due to the curvature. If you are mainly into TIG welding I would recommend ESAB. Lincoln reigns champion for the rest. By the way, I hate the headgear on Lincoln. It's very comfortable, but it happens a lot, and it was a big challenge to get it to fit well. The older…

Incredible transparency for head protection

Different from my old helmet day and night. I've had a $125 Lincoln helmet for the past 10 years. The batteries died 3 years ago so I replaced the lens cartridge with a port cartridge which lasted 3 years. I bit the bullet and bought a 3350 for double the price. The clarity is unreal. I've worn other people's helmets before but the lenses were of the same quality so I didn't think I was missing out and expected this one to be about the same but with a larger lens. Man, was I wrong. I see my…

it's actually better than the 3M™ Speedglas™ machines I've tried

So my experience of welding headgear goes something like this: • Old school fiberglass kettle lids <-- in the 70s, in the upper classes! • Modern sleek caps for large windows, lighter plastic shells • Modern auto-darkening caps for small windows by 3M™ • Modern auto-darkening caps for small windows by Harbor Freight <-- don't trust your eyes on cheap gear! So this thing has been a breath of fresh air so far. I like every single thing about it. It seems to get darker right away, maybe even

I thought I would buy a helmet from the USA.

I have just received my expensive welding helmet and found it says 'Made in China' on the bottom of the box! I wrongly thought that since Lincoln Electric is a proud American company with a great reputation and has been making quality products for over 100 years, I would have spent a lot of money on a "Made in the USA" welding helmet. These are my eyes I'm protecting here, so I don't want to buy cheap Chinese eye protection. I ordered the black version but they sell the Star and Stripe model…

Better than my Speedglas

I have worn Speedglas for many years. My 9100x finally stopped working. I wanted to try something new and after reading the reviews I decided on this hood. Also, the company I work for supplies a standard large interchangeable lens cap. I love the huge field of view, but what really sets me apart is the clarity of the puddle and the ability to see the surrounding landscape. Much better than the green glow I'm used to. Sensitivity and delay work great. So I may have a long lag when the carbon…

You need that helmet!

This helmet is amazing! I originally started welding with a Harbor Freight cored wire welder and one of their mid-range helmets. I switched to buying a good Lincoln Electric Weldpak 180 and the new welder is completely different. You get what you pay for so I used the same logic to find a new helmet. With the old green lens I could barely see without turning on auto dimming, let alone welding. Welding with an old helmet/lens was more or less a "spray and pray" situation. Try out some welds and…
