Easy to use for almost all of my bonsai. I use it for fine trimming of small to medium sized branches on JBP, Trident Maples and Hornbeam. I've used it on pine and other bonsai trees that gave off too much sap after hanging. Foil tape and this product are always on my benches. The consistency is a bit runny, but it covers, dries, protects and lasts. Thicker "puddy tape" and this product is a must have for hobbyists and for protecting trees in development and tree wounds.

I use this paste for trimming and I love it. This really helps prevent branches from dying off from pruning. This helps retain moisture in the tree (or woody plant). This material can get expensive if you have more than a few trees. I would suggest (if you need more cutting paste for less money) you can use Duct Seal Compound mixed with some neem oil (optional).
