- Not in order of importance, but as I remember. 1. Autofocus motor is, it is fast and quiet 2. good build quality, reliability and equipment (although China) 3. Aperture: like "1.8" - really acceptable quality is from 2.5, and good in my opinion from 4 (subjectively) 4. Very short focusing distance (from 12 centimeters it already clings, it almost comes out macro) 5. Optimal in terms of versatility, fixing on DX cameras - allows you to squeeze at least something in the conditions of small rooms, and shoot a portrait (but with the need for a subsequent crop of the frame, because half a meter from the object it greatly distorts in the central zone, and if further , then the portrait comes out already "with a bust", which is not always necessary. 6. Cheap (took approx. 6.5) 7. Compact and lightweight - always with you.
- Consider the price! 1. inaccurate autofocus, +/- up to 0.5 cm near (critical for a portrait). Sometimes it does not cling at all (worse than my 18-105). 2. terribly lathers at an aperture of more than 2.5, but you can try to use this to soften portraits;)) 3. I didn’t notice aberrations - my carcass removes them by itself, maybe they are. But peripheral distortion gives noticeable: the face closer than half a meter from the lens becomes pronounced puffiness, and this is the central zone of the frame! 4. explicit uncertainty of the functional purpose and scope of its use
