Description of 🍳 Nordic Ware Non-Stick Two Burner Griddle, 10.3 x 17.4 inches

Made of formed aluminum, it spans two burners with ease. Because the back side is uncoated, this griddle transitions with ease to camp stoves, grills, RVs, and even campfires to cook up delicious fare. Nonstick helps with simple clean-up; do not use metal scouring pads, abrasive cleaners or sharp cooking utensils as they will scratch the nonstick surface. Sized to accommodate anything you dream up, from pancakes and eggs to French toast and bacon, grilled cheese sandwiches, even searing chicken or steaks. Made in USA.

Warp and Spin

We have had this pan for a little over 6 months and have been using it on a glass hob with a bridge between the front and rear burners for almost the weekend. This has become a real problem as it is bent in the middle and won't stay in place on the hob. It literally spins and needs to be held in an oven mitt with your free hand. The rim is very flat, making it dangerous to cook greasy foods. Shame we bought these but we were looking for a cheap frying pan. Maybe better on a gas stove.

Broke down after several uses.

When I first got this pan I was thrilled! It's lightweight and fits perfectly on my hob and the non-stick coating is amazing. But after about 4 uses the top starts to crack and peel and I don't feel comfortable using it with food. (I even took great care not to use anything too abrasive on it.) The silvery aluminum shows through underneath the black non-stick finish, and when the black finish chipped (which seems relatively easy to do after launch), I made mine also worries about material being

  • I always liked it

  • Definitely a bad product

Very satisfied after the first use!

The frying pan arrived this morning. I washed it and we lit it for the first time. The pan is perfect for pancakes. With two gas burners on, it heats up evenly. On a non-stick surface, dough comes out clean with no smearing. We looked at much more expensive products but chose this one due to the low profile. Most others have handles that stick up. Storage space in our kitchen is of great importance. This pan takes up no more space than a baking sheet. Whether a non-stick pan is dishwasher safe…

Bad for a glass hob, great for grilling.

I bought this pan to use when camping. I didn't need anything fancy, just something non-stick, compact and lightweight. This is in line with those expectations. That being said, I will point out for other buyers that this rocks a lot. If you're looking for something to use on a glass cooktop I wouldn't recommend this. Plus, for the $20 price point, it's pretty well made. It looks like the "Teflon" coating (not sure what it is) does the job well. It's actually pretty light, I won't have any…

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Not reliable

04/27/2018 - Has served well for a little over a year but has waned quickly in the last month or so. Although it has never deformed! That non-stick coating gave way. Maybe because of washing in the dishwasher? I'm not sure. I will say that I had a guest who was able to overheat it while cooking. I also want to put the empty milk cartons back in the fridge. Such a guest. Who knows, maybe it would have taken longer. For $21 I wasn't expecting a cephalon. I will try the $31 pan shown in fig. Maybe

Excellent value for money

Our 18" Circulon nonstick pan has been around for years, but now it's becoming increasingly difficult to clean. Reviews of available substitutes did not inspire confidence. - Iron Skillet We have other Lodge black iron cookware and love it, but the Lodge skillet wasn't a good choice. She's finicky and EVERYTHING burns (after "seasoning") no matter what; might be suitable for camping but has no kitchen space (we haven't tried the ribbed bottom for steaks/chops yet). Out of frustration, I bought…

USE LOW HEAT :) light, comfortable, easy to clean

I have a two burner pan - it covers my two burner pan, I've tried both front to back and left to right and it fits both ways. I think it got such bad reviews because maybe people were cooking to a high standard. I just happened to get a two burner cast iron skillet and have been cooking on high and low results - I found that I had to use low to medium heat for this. So I decided I would try low heat. I put oil on it (which I can't do with cast iron), put it on a slow fire and let it heat up…
