Great stand with one flaw

I've used this stand to build three bikes and I really like it with one exception: Park Tool advertises a max load capacity of 80 pounds but this stand broke on me with 50 pounds on it together a pound e-bike that damaged the frame of my bike when it hit the cement floor. If you're putting anything heavier than a regular bike on this stand you really need to make sure all the quick releases are as tight as possible and I wouldn't leave the bike on the stand. get up and go. However, for my…

Broken Stand - Sport

This stand is failing me. He just wants to fold with a 30-pound bike. The clamp holding the legs doesn't work no matter how I tighten it. Very disappointing Park Tool, usually their stuff is very good. I can only use this stand for light maintenance, if I turn the wrench too hard the stand will collapse and the bike will fall. ***UPDATE*** I contacted Park Tool regarding this booth and they responded very quickly. They will fix this by sending me an upgraded stand leg clip. I am changing my…

I love the Park Tool bike rack. It's solid, well built, and has the quality I'd expect for $200. Unfortunately, the tool tray was not included in the scope of delivery. I contacted Revain and they said the only way to fix this problem was to send me a brand new stand to be repaired. Then I took out the tool rack and brought the rest back. This is madness. What would Revane do with an incomplete set? Will you ship it to someone else like they did with my first purchase? Sometimes I think the…

The stand collapsed under the weight of the e-bike

As another reviewer said, the stand will collapse if heavier than average bikes are placed on it. The main eccentric on the center bar slipped after a few minutes when I wasn't looking, and my expensive 60-pound e-bike slammed onto the concrete. I tightened the clamp. Couldn't believe it. I wiped the inside of the yoke and stock with isopropyl alcohol to get rid of any grease and it happened again, a little slower this time. I called Park Tools and they sent me a new clamp. Excellent customer…

I expected good quality from Park Tools and they deliver

I have used it several times and am satisfied with the quality and reliability. It's not lightweight, which is good and a bit uncomfortable at the same time, but tells me it'll probably last for years. Pretty easy to set up if you're good at it. Folding the legs is a little awkward, but I'd rather sacrifice some comfort for durability. I can say I'm still new to using it, although I'm still a little uncomfortable putting my bike in and pinching it. Also, since I'm using a dropper pen, I'm still

Seems strong but will it last?

I have an old Majestic tripod with no plastic parts. Everything is made of steel and aluminum. He is about 50 years old and in all that time he has never let me down. I think it will be somewhere in 50 years. This bike stand is not very good. It is made from very good metal parts but has plastic connectors which I doubt as I have seen similar ones broken. And forget about gluing or welding. Will not work. On the other hand, it won't see as much action as my tripod, and I won't scatter it…

The stand collapses under the weight of a NORMAL BICYCLE.

I bought this a few months ago hoping to make my cycling life easier. I bought this on purpose because it says it can hold 80 pounds. Well I've tried my heaviest e-bike at 62 pounds and indeed as others have mentioned it slides. So now I only use it with my regular bikes BUT it has dropped my mountain bike TWICE within a week of use and this mountain bike weighs no more than 35lbs. The first time he broke my bike's derailleur hangar costing $30 to replace, but the second time he completely…
