A good and inexpensive way to repair plaster

Excellent product. It takes some getting used to. I tried drilling with a shovel, it was terrible, the plaster is too dry. A few more things I learned: We have a drill press with three settings: one for drilling pilot holes, one for drywall screws, and one for button head screws. If I were using drywall adjustments it would be easy to tell when I was pressing the lathe, but it wasn't always level for a quick flush repair. I ended up using the pilot setting most of the time. It worked very well.

A simple, inexpensive solution to an otherwise complex and expensive repair.

You did a great job. Very fast delivery. The ceiling in our Florida home has a thin layer of stucco/stucco applied over the original Tectum panels. A 12" x 30" patch of stucco had detached from the top of the tectum due to water leaks. It was torn in several places and bent about 1/8 inch. The painter didn't think it would be a problem but I didn't want to pay to have the ceiling painted and then part of it fell off. Ceiling Buttons Help

I had a radiant heat plastered ceiling that had a crack at least 8 feet long and sagging on one side at least 2 inches below the other side. I placed temporary "props" between the floor and ceiling to keep the crack from propagating while I thought about the solution.
