Also works on an old Mopar

This work is very good, it was used on a 1973 Mopar Big Block. It wasn't perfectly symmetrical, but it was solid and did the job.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Nothing

Will not fit in my Ford 4.6L.

Looks good but doesn't match the 4.6 liter V8 in a '95 T-Bird. Therefore the description should be adjusted to indicate that it will fit most or even many Ford V8 engines.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Do not use square hole

Don't use a center square hole with a ratchet and always use a 1" socket. Mine split in half. A square hole can't take much. Also, this tool helped a lot by clearing my stuck boat motor released.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Good solid tool, works well

I may have just received an exceptional tool but I've had no problems and I've used it with a kick bar and rogue pipe to rock some old downhole motors before and back until they loosen and twist. There was no way to move these things any other way.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • There are nuances

Hard enough and does the job.

Worked great! I managed to solve my 4.3 v6. I had to use a lot more force than I expected. This tool worked great. I can't say that about one of my drum adapters. I used a 1" head instead of a 1/2 disc. Seems to be a quality item. Already paid for itself.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Disappear

A must-have tool when building an engine.

I bought this to run a newly rebuilt 4.3 liter Vortec engine. Even with lubricated cylinders and bearings and rings with correct clearance, my engine was very tight. Once I installed the Harmonic Balancer I could no longer use the crank head and it was too tight for the crank bolts to turn. I bought this and a few minutes out of the box I turned the crank into position to hit the dispenser. An indispensable tool for the right job.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Capacity

A small adapter turning a large motor.

This little adapter worked great. I noticed in some reviews that the adapter is broken. I could see where this could happen if you don't rotate the shock with the socket, but instead use a square hole intended for the breaker bar. If you were to use it to find TDC I would advise removing not just connector #1 but all connectors. I removed all plugs and used the socket on the adapter. I also loosened the belts on the accessory pulleys (AC, power steering, etc.). I used a medium sized breaker…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
