Clear instructions, easy to fit and better than the original

I switched to 33" tires last year and after a year of riding I started to feel a strange shaking in the rear wheel. As it turns out, the extra bracket I added not only completely punctured the metal, but nearly ripped the stock bracket off the jeep. Took me about an hour to remove and install it, and it seems out of one much stronger material to consist of material, with a stronger attachment to the tailgate. The tire is also mounted closer to the tailgate so there is likely to be significantly

but it could definitely be better. The good thing is that it lifts the tire.

Fits display but does not use all of the original tailgate mounting holes. You would think that since they are designed to support a larger tire than the stock tire (i.e. heavier) they would use ALL the mounting holes to distribute the weight evenly. I also found that the horizontal surface for installing the third brake light was far from being parallel to the ground. Mine is tilted back towards the rear window which makes the brake light look tilted backwards. I added washers under the rear…

Don't say "Rugged Ridge " but it was the perfect replacement bed mount for my 2014 F150.

I've spent a lot of time finding a bed mount for my 2014 F150 bench cab but everyone says their product costs ten times more than you can weld it yourself. That was until I found this beauty! I know it's for TJ/LJ (and I have one) but I needed something for my truck. That was excellent. As a bed mount with the weight of the tire in the bed of the truck, I was able to use the top two holes on my 6-bolt Ford rims. Using the bottom two tabs on these washers I was able to cut two more holes, thread

Strong and perfect fit

This bracket fits perfectly by almost all standards. As others have pointed out this is a 2 piece which could very easily be a 1 piece. I have a feeling this will make it weaker in the long run, but I really don't expect it to be detrimental to the design. The other criticism I have is that the tire is a few inches back from the tailgate compared to the factory mount, so the rubber bumpers no longer touch the tire. Again, I don't think it will matter in the long run, but for now I'll be taking…
