Works for me for hubs

Why I chose this product: I had a Dell PowerEdge T410 server with USB 3.0 support via a Rosewill add-on PCI card. Although the card can optionally receive additional power via Molex (to provide "full" power to USB 3.0 client devices), the T410 cannot provide such additional power via Molex. I'm not sure if this was because my T410 was configured with "redundant" power supplies, but the bottom line is that the only "spare" power supply available in my T410 was a single SATA power connector (no…

He not only died, he killed the flash drive

It seemed that this would be a good product capable of powering USB devices such as external drives. However, it came without instructions. I plugged the device's power adapter into an outlet, then plugged it into the hub's power port. All LEDs (one for each port) were blinking rapidly and that was the last activity I saw from the hub. . I popped the flash drive into the hub and it quickly warmed up. It smelled like electronics that were too hot. I unplugged everything and let it cool down only

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are nuances

I've seen some users having trouble with bad switches, but I figured negative reviewers would be far more motivated to write reviews than positive ones. However, one switch didn't work out of the box. Also, I was constantly losing power to the device and while troubleshooting I found that the power supply was not making good contact with the hub unless fully inserted (it resists full penetration and naturally pulls back a bit). ). Also, the lights don't come on, and I assume the actual USB data

Excellent customer service

The item arrived very quickly. I had a clearly defective device that I emailed Sabrent about. Brian from Sabrent called me about my problems. He was an amazingly responsive person and went out of his way to not only understand what the problem with the product was but to make sure I was a happy customer. He immediately sent me a replacement device (after about 2 minutes I received his confirmation email)! Apparently I received an early production model 4-port USB 3.0 hub and Brian sent me a…

3.0 Electronics Best in Networking Products

Light but strong. It's a powered hub, what else can you say? The power adapter VERY easily falls out of the hub's power port. Bought for several flash drives and HD drives and works as advertised with the power cord not falling out of the hub. NO power supply on Micro 3.0 port for those who want to plug in their Micro OTG adapter to charge their phones or tablets. There is a way to use this with the Dell Venue 8Pro to charge and sync at the same time. USB Female to USB Male and Micro USB Y-Key.

5 stars, although almost perfect.

I usually connect 2 USB 3.0 external hard drives to it as well as a laptop fan cooler. The buttons work great, this hub powers any USB device like fans and lights without connecting the main USB 3.0 cable to the laptop. The lights that indicate that a device is on only come on if it's a device that requires a laptop to read properly, such as a laptop. B. an external hard drive. So when you press the USB fan cooler button, the lights don't turn on, which is fine with me, they turn on for…

Works great when it works.

For months I have been tracking a very intermittent problem (described below) on my Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows 7. The solution was to replace the two Sabrent hubs that were plugged into my computer , two of them from another manufacturer. My laptop only has one USB 3.0 port, so I daisy-chained two hubs** to allow six devices to be connected (2 scanners, a R/W DVD drive, all self-powered, and 3 hard drives, of which 2 self-sufficient *). I do quite a bit of photo work, which causes
