Schlage FE595CS PLY 626 Lock Review

This is rubbish. The piece fell off and fell off multiple times when I tried to reattach it. The electrical system failed and this lock became useless. Schlage has a one year warranty but refuses to replace this lock with it. It broke due to a mechanical problem. I am outraged as it was a waste of money. 100% no purchase recommendation. We've been told that cold weather shouldn't bother these locks. We installed 20 of these in homes in Illinois last November. This week 4 of them refused to work leaving the tenants out in the cold. We are very upset at this moment. We changed the batteries even though they are new and that didn't seem to help. Remember to lubricate the mechanism. Any help is appreciated. I love these locks, direct sunlight tends to negatively affect the keyboard, unfortunately this part cannot be purchased separately, customer service is not always, every now and then I have to guarantee the lock as I have over 20 locks and although this lock has a lifetime guarantee there is usually no problem when i call but there is a guy in support who refuses to give a guarantee, he says we should buy a more commercial lock so he can cover the guarantee not edited for me.
