This absorption fridge works great. Tried only 12 volts and 120 volts. It pulls straight ahead with 150 watts and keeps the temperature just above freezing in the fridge and below freezing in the freezer. In my testing it worked well and cooled faster than I expected on 120v and propane. It worked acceptably well at 12v. I bought the model XC40 about four months ago and the main point would be that this model of fridge comes semi assembled.
