Spaghetti Nightmare

I just received this thread and was happy to find a decent price on ABS. I first tried to print with the recommended settings on the coil side (nozzle 230°C, glass bed 80°C). I used hairspray as the glue for the glass layer as it works very well with PLA filament from other manufacturers. I start to print and the skirt, the first layer, the first 2 hours looks fine. No problems, no deformation. I'll check it out in a few hours and it's a filament nightmare. Spaghetti is everywhere and I have no

Nice, easy to sand, not as strong as PLA+

Edit: After a bit of trial and error I have a clearer idea of what's going on. I increased the extruder temp to 260 because the hotter I made it the harder the pressure would be. Now not everyone does this because due to my direct drive setup I have to raise the hot end temp every time. But I just don't think this filament will be as strong as some PLA+ filaments (especially the Filacube material which is amazing). Maybe I was spoiled by their elasticity and resilience and wrongly viewed it…

ABS that works. - 3D printing consumables

was damaged UPDATE (10/22/2020): I was very happy with the red version of this filament a few months ago so I have another black spool for a new Voron build Bought . . The smell of this roll seems to be much stronger than that of the previous roll. It still prints good solid pieces, but the pairs aren't great. Not sure if it's just that coil or that color, but I can't be in the same room if it's a printer because my air filter can't handle the fumes. Original: I very rarely print with ABS…
