Works great when used with a scale that can handle it

I've used this on a few jobs lifting things. The motor is powerful enough to lift 200-300 pound walls 9 feet in my situation. It shows a 1000lb capacity but you will need to shorten/double the cord and I wouldn't try that much weight. Not many in this price range can lift that much weight. The device comes with a 48V battery and charger. The product is well made, doesn't feel cheap. This is a great emergency product. pulling boats out of the water.

Works as described - Electric Winches

This winch is fully capable of handling 1000 pounds of pull/vertical lift. It's slow but properly configured. The winch works fine. I haven't had any issues with it yet, it comes with a battery and charger. I wish they had a soft bag or suitcase for everything. I also wish there were more removable batteries. The SuperHandy Store on Revain does not currently list them. This is a good quality battery powered portable winch. You can save some money compared to the branded version. Battery…

Requires wireless remote control

Well it certainly won't take you everywhere quickly, but for its size and portability it's a truly amazing product and it's strong enough to tow ATVs with no problem, it could probably its earlier to unhook if your truck is stuck somewhere but its really perfect i would say side by side. The price is a bit high for the money, I think it should have a wireless remote because it feels sketchy standing right on the cord if it has some weight on it. Sure it's slow, but I was surprised at how…

Great portable winch. Ideal for getting the boat out of the water.

This is a high quality portable winch. It moves objects efficiently, while not fast, and is the perfect choice for pulling boats out of the water. I also use this in my shop to place heavy objects like a motor head on a drill press. With a 1,000-pound payload capacity, there's not much you can do. And I like the bright orange color, although the color has nothing to do with the quality of the winch. I have two complaints that I don't think downgrading the overall score is justified. First…

I'm just not impressed (yet)

Seems clunky and impossible to install. It also has no remote control ether. I can use it to lift the engine out of the vehicle as it is said to be able to do this intelligently. You can turn the dial and quickly pull the cable all the way out, but that's only one option. To bring it back I had to hold down the power button until it retracted. Slowly but steadily. I should use it more to better understand its potential but so far I'm not very impressed. Regardless of the cost, you can get a…

Works as expected but needs a longer cord

The Super Handy portable winch fits our needs well. My husband has an ATV that he has to load into the back of a pickup truck from time to time when it can't be loaded onto a truck. Previously he has used a manual hoist or electric puller to pull the quad up the ramps and onto the truck. He was looking for an easier solution to this task and this tool gave him the result. The rope used is a polyethylene plastic rope, which has advantages and disadvantages compared to conventional steel rope…

Good tool I recommend this winch/pulling tool

First of all this winch was fully charged 48w battery 2 hours. I tested the winch for over an hour. I'm concerned about a few things other than the #1 battery amp-hours. It's a rear hook that you have to clip it to during use. It needs to be a little short to raise the drawbar, it needs to be at least 6-10 inches longer, but that can easily be attached to your end. #2. A winch cable is a rope, although it's quite strong, it can wear out over time. #3 THAT. NO REMOTE CONTROL, there is no manual…

Great tool - will it last longer than my Warn winch?

My Warn cable winch was disappointing in terms of durability - it just couldn't stand it, because the batteries just weren't enough even if it was used seldom. It only has one battery, but we'll see if it outlives the warning we had. The design ergonomics of the SuperHandy are similar to the Warn winch we already have. It has a brushless motor and if the electronics are comparable then it's a better deal (except they don't include a second battery). My suggestion to SuperHandy would be to let…

Working well at the moment but not much cheaper than the Warn winch

This winch is working well so far but I'm not sure about the durability, especially the electronics. Given how close the asking price is to other established branded options like Warn PulzAll, I would probably recommend going with Warn. With a bigger brand like Warn, you generally get better customer service, better parts availability, and easier procurement of things like spare/replacement batteries. ELECTRONICS: This is the area that worries me the most. I would rate the quality of the…
