Pretty cool tool!: Hand tool

I saw a lot of ads for this tool and finally decided to give it a try. The quality is definitely there, I first used it for an oil change on my Jeep Wrangler. It worked perfectly. This means it has its own adapter for use with a power drill. I believe it fits everything you need up to 3/4 and it holds the head very well. Overall it worked great and is very easy to use!

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • There are problems

Universal socket with adapter

This universal socket will make my husband's life a little easier. I ordered it because he is a person who doesn't need or want anything... except tools. This person loves new tools. This versatile accessory comes with an adapter that he can attach to his drill so he doesn't have to stop to find the right tool. This will be his Father's Day gift and I'm sure he'll love it. Runs smoothly and fits most instruments. I recommend!

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Long waiting time

So it's worth it!

This universal accessory from TOOLBAY simply cannot be missing. I have a drill press, it takes forever to find the right head, which often frustrates me. This universal socket fits CR-V sizes from 1/4" to 3/4" or 7mm to 19mm. The rosette itself is spring loaded so when released the spring will return to its original position. There is an adapter for a 1 3/8 socket drill bit. It also cost $12 to save my sanity and headache so it was worth it!

I wasted so much time not buying it sooner.

Wow. I've seen them in ads over the last few years (which have probably gotten more and more targeted because I've seen so many little videos about the features of this little adapter). But it is comfortable for one person. If you're like me, you probably have no idea how often you receive a piece of furniture or product that comes with two or more screw sizes. And for lack of that little adapter, you'll end up switching back and forth between two wrenches (or grab a half-moon wrench and be…

Good idea but lacks depth

I really wanted this article to work for me. I was excited to get it and try it out because I thought it might be a good general purpose socket that might help reduce some of the other sizes I might have overlooked. After receiving it, however, he faced some problems. The main problem is that the socket itself works with a series of pins on springs. Unfortunately, the springs take up most of the actual socket body. The rosette itself is at a depth of about 0.46 inches or 1.2 cm before touching…

The versatility and convenience of this item make it a great buy!

For $12 this is a 10 out of 10 must have for occasional use in your home. I've never heard of the ToolBay, but the base appears to be a high quality metal material and I expect it to last a couple of years, although this thing will definitely get scratched after a fall. This fits my cheap Autocraft socket wrench and closes nice and neat. The extra hex adapter is a huge bonus and very glad it's included. Great holiday / birthday / stocking for those family members and friends who are…

Gold ratchet (not for impact wrenches)

Like many people, I've always wanted one of these. The idea is just...cool. So I was thrilled that I finally got one of these and decided to try it out in different ways. I took some hex nuts to test. I pre-drilled the starting holes in 2x4. I started with an impact wrench - probably not the best idea. He's really not very good at that. I'm pretty sure the impact damaged the interior. It's just not designed to work with something like that. The screws came loose better, but the screws tended to

Great tool - 3/8 " deep - many similar options available

I've wanted one of these tools since I started collecting tools as a kid and saw ads for this tool back in the 80's or so I am surprised how many vendors and brands has the same tool including the original OG Gator grip. Tip: If you're looking to add this to your collection, spend some time looking around and you'll find all sorts of options that come with different attachments, flexible adapters, etc. Coming back to this tool, I will not use this for high torque applications, it is a handy…
