Great replacement for an old PWC trailer

I bought these to repair my Wave Runner trailer. The lights give you some marks to put screws - they were perfect for my 2009 trailer. These headlights are sealed compared to my old headlights which were unsealed. With old lanterns, the wiring ended at the cartridge plate and it was all rusted. With new headlights, two wires come loose from the sealed block and you attach them to your old wiring with wire nuts. I put lots of dielectric grease on the wire nuts to keep them from rusting. The…

weak tabs for mounting screws

These lights are the same size as most boat/cargo trailer LED lights. They are light and have enough wires to connect. The bottom dimension are the tabs that are supposed to hold the mounting bolts in place, are flimsy and poorly hold the bolt in place when you insert the carriage bolt into the slots provided. Brittle tabs cause increased installation time and frustration due to a serious design flaw. These lanterns are shore made and do not represent US quality. I have some doubts as to how…

Solid LED lights. only 1 small complaint

First of all this is a very well designed LED light kit that is very attractive to look at. It also comes with stainless steel mounting hardware, which is a huge bonus for those of us running in salt water. The only thing I have to complain about is that when installing the screw into the mounting brackets, the plastic was cheap and broke, requiring me to manually push the screws in with my fingers. I was able to tighten and install them with broken clips but it took about twice as long as it…

A good product. in Trailer Lights

This item was installed on a boat trailer and installation was relatively easy. The product works electrically as advertised and is very bright. The pendant has not yet been in the water so I cannot comment on the water resistance until next spring. A minor complaint: these headlights replaced long-time "standard" box headlights of similar dimensions; the new headlights are slightly lower (front/rear) and therefore do not fully fit into the existing bodywork; Following a "standard" sizing…

Perfect replacement for 1997 escort boat trailer bulbs!

Purchased to replace bulbs that stopped working on the Escort boat trailer that came with my 1997 Capri 1950 Bayliner. The headlights look premium and premium. All the hardware needed to install the lights was stock, the lights were easy to install and they fit perfectly! Instead of the nuts that came with it, I used shrink butt connectors. Matching the correct wires was relatively easy once the original lights were connected, although the colors of the wires on the new lights didn't exactly…

You may need a mounting plate if your trailer doesn't already have one.

I used these on my boat trailer. My brake light has failed and I have found that the bulbs are in the housing and cannot be replaced so I need a whole new light. So I decided to switch to LEDs and noticed that you can buy a kit for $10. The wiring instructions were basic, but the installation instructions are outdated in directions. I realized this by looking at the old headlights. It is easier to first insert the screws into the headlights (according to the hole pattern on the trailer) and…
