Buzzing sound when connected to USB-C power adapter

My use case for this is a USB-C dock for my Dell Latitude 5490. So far I've tested the following: - 4K HDMI works with extending the desktop -Displays of my laptop (I have not tried video streaming or movie playback). However, I've encountered an occasional disconnect that I have to disconnect and reconnect to restore the HDMI video. - Ethernet LAN is working. - USB A (connects to a monitor hub) - USB A works - USB C power works (delivers enough power so the laptop doesn't whine) Problem:…

Great docking station with charging function at a great price!

It didn't work at first and it took me a while to fix the problem and I found that my new Lenovo Yoga 920 needed a firmware update after which everything worked fantastic! It's great to be able to charge simultaneously with a wireless keyboard and mouse without having to open the laptop, just plug in and go. Good product! Much better than using Lenovo docks. The price is much better!

Currently the best value for a working USB-C hub. Best paired and works with LINUX.

This hub costs $60. let me explain. I've spent over $500 on USB-C hubs, docking stations, and Thunderbolt 3 devices. I had a very specific use case for it - supporting UBUNTU, Gigabit, Power Delivery and 4K (30kHz).1) It works with Ubuntu 16.04/18.04 out of the box. I have other hubs, Realtek Etheneet 8315, it didn't work for me. This is a first time install of Ubuntu as I install it at different times for the build I am working on. 2) Seems to work on both 13 and 15 Macbook Pros. 3) No error…

Functional well in Computer and Accessories

Tested to charge 60W at full speed with USB 3.0 without issues. The monitor connects with no problems. The only thing they can do better is that the Type-C head doesn't quite fit the hole they design in this adapter and comes out right after inserted. I hope they can add a magnet or something in the future. which can fix cables and Type C head in trench. The material is not metal either.
