    Great and accurate dive computer

I've been using it for a few months. Have done more than 20 dives with it. So far very satisfied. Were in the deco and the instructions are clear. I compared the bottom times with other dive computers and found a perfect match. My group of divers left them and the compass helped me to find them again. This is not only a dive computer but also a great smartwatch. I use it 24/7. It tracks my workout, sleep, steps, etc.

    Pros
    • Excellent design
    Cons
    • Useless features

Fine, maybe good. in Running GPS Units

Good features: Insanely fast international shipping and lightning fast through customs. Connects to your mobile phone quickly and easily. A highly customizable watch face for the display and information you want. Good integration with MyFitnessPal to keep track of your baseline and activity. Neutral: A regular screen isn't as bright as I'd like, battery life to hell. The picture is much brighter than it really is. Untested: I'll be diving with it next month so we'll see how these features work…

The One Who Rules Them All

With this device, Garmin simply kicks the ball out of the park. If you're into multisport, this is for you! A bit pricey but worth it. The watch automatically transfers all data to the phone (you already know this, but it's still a great feature). I bought it primarily because it's a dive computer that can show all the data in the phone (except airflow). I also do running, weights, kayaking. The more I use it, the more I like it. Pros: Ease of use. Good battery life. The height does not have to

I would like to know if I have just received a fake watch.

As an avid fisherman and free diver I was very pleased with this watch. I must have been wrong as the watch kept freezing and restarting out of the blue. I've restarted and factory reset multiple times but the problem persisted. Once the watch got stuck in vibration mode during a dive and vibrated until the battery died after 45 minutes. Sigh. Even if you wear it to bed to check the heart rate monitor, it restarts and/or freezes 5-6 times a night. Revain took care of prompt returns and refunds.

    Terrible software! Good battery life

I like Garmin but they need to hire people to make the software that much better! Many downloads are unavailable or do not work. The Garmin board does not work. I just use my old dive watch and buy a Fitbit heart rate monitor or an Apple Watch. It is very difficult to use this Garmin MK1 item. Also GPS and navigation are not good. To the little one. According to the list, the altimeter must be calibrated once a week. Very weak GPS signal in the building. There isn't even a GPS signal underwater

Good hardware user interface leaves something to be desired

Overall good watch and dive computer, but usability leaves something to be desired. Both on the device itself and in the application. The interface and usability are extremely unintuitive. It pains me to say this, but it looks like it was designed by engineers. And I'm an engineer. :-) It's very extensible, but the app developer community looks like a bunch of tinkerers. Compared to the everyday Fitbit Blaze, there's no comparison. The flame is much more convenient. A simple thing like waking…

Nearly perfect. But a terrible design decision ruined everything.

Edit: 7/11/19 So although I've never used sunscreen/lotions or taken my watch off during exercise (bought a chest strap), the heart rate sensor cap is starting to crack. A bug that could result in me being underwater in over 80ft and my watch suddenly dying (even check your dive charts as a safety net). I have attached a photo of these cracks but they are thin and difficult to get the right light for the camera clearly. If Garmin can't make a decent HR sensor cover, take it off the device we…

This is the new standard in dive computer watches!

I've been looking for this watch since I started diving 25 years ago! The watch is exceptional, runs smoothly underwater, has very fast underwater updates for the computer and compass, and really knocks it out of the park with the GPS positioning for starting and ending dives. It tracks temperature, heart rate - along with all the other profile stuff. On the surface it's a great fitness watch too, again with the added benefit of GPS to track your workouts etc (as opposed to being on a remote…
