Always quality with progressive

Easy to install if you've done it before. I've installed this or a similar set from Progressive on every bike I've owned. I love how it stiffens the forks and eliminates nose dive under braking. I would definitely recommend this set.

Cons
  • Hard to say

Bike rides better when lowered

Works well on my 2015 Road Glide. 2 inches lower because my bike is too big. The bike rides better than lying down. I didn't notice any difference in comfort or performance, which is good, although it could be stiffer. I'm glad I bought it. I recommend.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best

easy installation for experienced and mechanically inclined people

Quality product, easy installation for experienced and mechanically inclined people. I used this kit to lower the front of my 2014 SG Special 2" after replacing the stock front wheel with a 21". Now my bike is back to normal. I used the recommended 20wt fork oil, rides a little stiffer but not too bad In hindsight I'd probably settle for 15w. Note: you need special tools, do a little research.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • not bad

Good quality and improved handling even downhill.

This is the third progressive lowering kit I've done on my forks. All three also received 1 inch shorter Ohlins or Progressive shocks. This was done on a 2014 Harley Streetglide. This can be done without removing the plugs, but it's not very easy. I use hook 9 at the end of the coat. Suspension for hooking on the springs and a damper for detaching the springs. It's not very easy, but it's possible. This requires certain skills for installation and maybe even some tools that you might not have…

Control Dyna Glide with the comfort of Electra Glide rides.

Finally! I feel in control of my 14 Electra Glide. I installed Burly rear fork mounts 3 weeks ago which lowered the rear end an inch. I suspected they helped a bit but to get the full effect of lowering the bike. I knew I needed to lower the front of the bike an inch as well. So I bought the Progressive (1 inch) kit. Today my mechanic installed the assembly, very expensive by the way, no kit, installation. Book calls for 4 hours of work so get ready, it's not exactly cheap. But I thought of…
