Description of Siphon Transfer Portable Anti Corrosion Gasoline

[Hose Clip Secures]: There are metal buckles at the siphon pump connecting gasoline and hose, which can make the two more tightly connected. This handle siphon pump has a hose clamp, which enable you one hand free during fuild transportation, You can do other things without worrying about the tube falling. [Extra long hose]: 192cm / 6.3 feet fuel siphon pump hose equipped with a fixed hose clamp to fix it in place without water leakage. Rubber material is more resistant to gasoline than PVC transparent hoses, avoiding corrosion and preventing leakage. [Quick delivery]: The siphon pump is easy to use and can deliver up to 3.5 gallons of liquid per minute. Water pump, fuel pump, air pump, swimming pool pump, air pump, oil pump and other water pumps are ideal choices. [Safety and Convenience]: Use the manual fuel pump, it will start to siphon flow soon. Built-in check valve to prevent backflow. The arrow on the rubber bulb indicates the flow direction. Note: The source container should be placed higher than the target container. [Safety Note]: You no longer need to start the siphoning process with your mouth, which is very dangerous and extremely inefficient. Not suitable for drinking water, salt water and acid corrosive liquid.

Slow. But can be changed to work

Slowly. I removed the lightbulb and placed it on the end. Use the blower to start the flow and remove the blower to get full flow.

  • . Sparse statement

Decent pump for liquid liquids.

Works well with fluids such as Honda Dual Pump Rear Differential Fluid or CVT Fluid. However, I would never try to use this on gear lube. The tubing and pump itself are not large enough in diameter to be used for thicker liquids. It works well, but for the price it works.

Stops working after a few weeks!

it worked fine for a few weeks and then suddenly it stopped working. I'm still figuring out why as it's just a tube with a compression ball in the middle. I don't know how something so simple can stop working after a few weeks. I definitely do not recommend this product!

Exquisite workmanship. Top quality!

Excellent product. As a designer, I appreciate the "little things" that go unnoticed by many users - for example the almost perfect attachment of the hoses (metal parts and fasteners vs. plastic and adhesive connectors). Ha! "I can't do better" :-) I have a "cheap" plastic (not much cheaper in reality), but the difference in quality is colossal; This is my backup (temporary fix) in case one of my basement pumps fails, thanks. Highly recommended!

SIMPLE AND SAFE for manual fuel pumps

Squeeze the bulb a few times and it will start pumping fuel from the canister over the target. I can take a gas canister and place it on the cab of my truck, stick one end into the canister and the other end into the truck's fuel tank, and then start the siphon by squeezing the bulb a few times. I also bought a small electric dispenser but I'm afraid to use it because it's electric (batteries). So I'm going to use this safer siphon tube, even if it takes longer.

Suitable for lawn mowers etc.

I thought the ball would start the siphon but it didn't. You have to keep pressing. I consent to filling the lawnmower or other small gas tanks. I used it to fill a 2 gallon container with gasoline from a 5 gallon container. It was a little workout. I've found that by lifting the larger container higher than the smaller one and attaching the hose securely to both containers, I can gently step on the ball instead of squeezing it. It's better than picking up and trying to safely pour 5 gallon…

Non-automatic is best for manual fuel pumps

By non-automatic I mean that as soon as you start pumping fluid from a higher tank to a lower tank, it will stop flowing on its own. You need to keep squeezing the pear. Wondering if a backflow preventer in the bulb will prevent this - not sure. But I have used many siphons earlier in my life and once you get them to flow they will continue to flow as long as the source tank is higher than the destination tank. It doesn't happen here. Been trying for a while.

Cons
  • Good, but not great

NOT Siphon for Garage & Shop

Don't let the word Siphon in the title fool you like I did. This is a hand pump. Once flow begins from the source tank at the top to the destination tank at the bottom, there is no flow. You have to pump the plunger to transfer liquid. The flow direction is determined only by the difficult to read arrow on the piston. Black on Black. WILL NOT WORK with modern American vehicles that have baffles or other blocks to prevent siphons or check valves to prevent leaks during rollover. This tube of…

If you have a third hand

The quality of this item is good but I cannot confirm how long it will last as I have only used it a couple of times. I had to drain the sump twice a day as my air conditioning broke down and I was having trouble draining the water. So I attached it to the side of the pot, but the clamp was unstable for such a shallow pool and the end kept popping out of the water. The other end was in a gallon jar but it kept falling unless I held it between my legs. It took a few magical reps and lots of…
