Easy installation. Continuous.

Installed on a 2019 F-250 (8 ft.) long deck. Used set of brackets without drilling. In general, everything is good and solid. One note - it doesn't go to the bottom of the tailgate - so the extended bed is 9ft 9in, not a full 10ft 0in.

Great upgrade for truck body and tailgate accessories

I fitted this body upgrade to my 2016 Ram 1500 with the Bakflip MX4 trunk cover already installed. I have opted for additional quick release brackets that allow me to remove the extension even with a heavy load. Installation was easy and there was no conflict with my trunk lid. I took the liberty of upgrading the extender with whatever reflectors I had on hand. In my opinion, they should be a standard feature. I have recommended this item to my friends and will definitely order again for a new…

Easy installation, perfect fit with tonneau backflip

This thing came out of the box and took 30 minutes to assemble. If your truck already has holes for mounting brackets, this is very easy. I have a 2018 Ram 2500 with a backflip because this thing came out of the box and was assembled in 30 minutes. If your truck already has holes for mounting brackets, this is very easy. I have a 2018 Ram 2500 with Fibermax backflip tunnel and it fits perfectly. Make sure to get this one instead of the triangular one... you'll be furious if you waste space!

Best buy for my 6'-4 " truck

For my RAM 1500 with a 76" truck bed, the bed extender makes it very easy to use 4x8 sheets of plywood and 8 foot planks load. I just had to be careful to place the 1x2s at an angle so they wouldn't come out between the bars. When I'm not carrying long stuff the AMP just stays upside down and it makes it easy to just toss things in the back of the truck. Today I put a new rim grill in and it fit like it couldn't be better.. 2 shock cords and all I had to do was drive across the country without…

works fine - when not dented

I have a friend who talked me into doing this - much easier and keeps things from sliding forward off the bed. The problem with the AMP was that one of the sections had a dent to keep it from sliding into the other section - there was no damage to the powder coat etc so it was from the factory. Since they slip, I had to massage them a bit with a hammer. You can't see the install but it took another 30 minutes to complete just one piece compared to the rest of the install. Otherwise it looks…

My review is for a 2017 Dodge Ram Crew 6'4 " wide (4x8 sheets will not fit)

Package arrived undamaged and a day early (Labor Day). Very easy to assemble and install -I got the spray on the fairing and the holes for drilling the holes were already there so no hole punch needed. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the curved rails weren't well thought out.If they did it with would design a smaller radius it would erase 4X8 sheets of plywood and drywall (which is why I bought it) so if you're buying with hopes of carrying 4x8 materials in your 6ft bed it…

Highly recommended. Fits 2017 Ram with Solid Cover

Installs in 2017 Ram with Liner and Extang 2.0 Solid Cover. Used metal scissors to cut out a small piece of lining but was able to install right through. A Dremel tool works well if you want a cleaner look. Follow the instructions and assembling the extender will be pretty easy. The rods are pre-punched with drill points, eliminating the need for cardboard templates. There are 6 holes in total and the staples go straight. Ideal for hard covers. Adjust the handles so the cover falls between the…

WILL NOT WORK WITH TONNEAU ROLL-UP COVERS THAT HAVE BED MOUNTING GUIDES.

Installs on a 2015 Dodge Ram Quad Cab (ie short truck bed of approximately 5ft 7in) with the tonneau cover fold down. The hinges and width of the bed extension cause the unit to bump against the tonneau duvet rails when rolled forward or backward on its upright. DO NOT adjust the width of the extension even to temporarily loosen the cover. Metal slides to open/close and then slide back into final position when needed. Do I have to use a rubber mallet to pry this extension off the hinges and…

Great product except plastic thread with metal stud

Overall cool product. Especially if you decide to use quick releases. Turns my 8" bed into a 9 1/2" bed. The only thing I don't like about it (I honestly drive through the junkyard a lot when overloading my truck) is that the plastic pieces holding the metal frame together have about 6 screws (2 for each frame). I don't know when it happened, I never heard any popping while driving or anything like that. Eventually something hit him and several bolts broke through the plastic thread. Now the…
