Difficult to Use: Cookware

The metal rings are metal and are very difficult to manipulate when hot so I removed them and used a spatula to scoop out the eggs. Also, the handle on the lid is metal, so again you'll need to use oven mitts to handle it. If the pen were plastic you wouldn't need gloves or even less it would be easier to handle. I wish I had noticed these things before I ordered it.

Works great smoothing out the creases

I read all the reviews, ordered and went to town. I was so excited to use this. However, finding the right amount of water and SPRAY, SPRAY, SPRAY is difficult. Cleaning is easy if you. SPRAY. Eggs turn out perfectly when you adjust the temperature to your stovetop. I would give you time but it won't be exact, everyone will get different results depending on the oven and water temperature. I basically used it as if I were poached eggs in water. Not a boil, but just below it. Make a disposable…

Love it. I have bought 3 so far

I love these. I have bought 3 so far. One for me, one for my parents house and one for the dacha. Poached eggs are my favorite way to eat eggs and I can cook them the traditional way, but let's face it; it's a pain So you can prepare up to 4 poached eggs in less than 10 minutes including preparation. I put the eggs in when the water boils for 4:20 and they come out perfect every time. As with any non-stick coating, be careful with this or it will scratch and peel. If you have poured some EVO…

A simple and reliable way to prepare excellent poached eggs.

I love poached eggs and it's incredibly easy to use (and clean). They suggest using cooking spray in cups, but I prefer a few drops of olive oil with herbs. Bring 1/2 inch water to a boil in a saucepan and reduce the heat (I use a gas range). Break cold eggs. Cover and simmer for 4 minutes, until the egg whites are fully cooked and the yolks are runny (I'm happy to cook longer if you like it less runny). Do not touch the cups with bare fingers, lift them with a glove or tool. Run a knife around

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • No paint required

Perfect eggs every time, easy to clean!

So I grew up spending the summers and holidays with my very southern grandparents. My grandmother used to cook me a poached egg for breakfast. I've spent my entire adult life trying to find a method to help me easily recreate her perfect balls. I bought all these "eggs" from the movie "As Seen on TV" and tried to make them palatable, all with varying degrees of success. Inevitably, I end up with lots of pots and items that need cleaning. This pan is AMAZING! OMG, so easy to use, so easy to…

How to use it: Poacher's Egg

He does what he is good at. The only thing I don't like is that the eggshells aren't wider or smaller, making the eggs the size of an English muffin. Instead, they are deeper with a smaller diameter. The included instructions leave a lot to be desired, so here are a few helpful tips. I pour about an inch of water into the pot, just below the cups. Rub some hard, chilled butter onto a paper towel and use it to brush the coating in the cups before adding the eggs. On my gas stove, I set the fire…

The thing works well, needs a bit of training.

Be from a pro so first remove the little handles that will slip off instantly and you can store them in a drawer. Make sure you use a non-stick coating or they won't fall out when done. Also load the eggs in cups outside the pan do not try to break the eggs well in a tray over hot water, do it from the outside and then lightly grasp the tray with the loaded eggs in the center of the handle and lower Then place them safely in the boiling water over medium heat with the water for best results…
