Easy to clean. in special

A great product for anyone who just cooks for themselves. Very easy to clean, love the egg covered cups, the eggs just slide out. Absolute recommendation to buy this product.

Great poacher great price

Read some of the reviews some people seem to be out of common sense. It's metal, heats up, burns fingers, boils away. This is a well made, durable pan and the egg inserts are easy to clean. No complaints, works as expected and the price is good!

  • Worth the money

Well made, easy to use/clean

We recommend this poacher for two eggs. Its construction is excellent and it is made of heavy metal. Non-stick egg cups work really well - even better when smeared with olive oil - and are very easy to clean up after cooking. 14 minutes from first fire to poached egg, each with firm yolk. The glass lid is also handy, so you're not tempted to lift the lid (which temporarily loses most of the heat and increases cooking time) to check on the cooking progress.

  • Absolute legend

  • too blunt

Great product for Egg Pochers

I'm the only one who eats poached eggs so I have two pans. Very well made, heavy steel, easy to use and clean. The cups are non-stick and oiled, boiled eggs slide out of them. Boil the water. Pop in the cups and set the timer for 4 minutes and you have two perfect poached eggs that slide right onto your toast. Whites are prepared with a well runny yolk. If desired, the main pan can be used as a frying pan or as a separate pan. There is a steam outlet on the lid so that nothing overcooks. I…

Eggs for Two - Special Utensils

I had an ExcelSteel one egg poacher for a while and I really liked it. The 2 egg cooker is made of the same very durable material, the lid is made of glass, it heats evenly, the eggs are very easy to remove and wash. The cup is Teflon coated but I use a quick Pam spray before putting the eggs in. We have very hard mineralized water, so I sometimes soak the jug and bottom of the cups in some white vinegar. remove mineral deposits. The order was executed accurately, shipped quickly, arrived safe…

I preferred Kit hen Craft to this EXk

When sending back the skillet is flimsy and cheap, the egg cups are very difficult to remove as it is very hot and the cups are not attached to the handle holding them reached. Very difficult to use. I ordered Kitchen Craft and preferred the Kitchen Craft brand due to the very small increase in price. I think the signature kitchen craft comes from England and it takes a little longer to get here. The craft cooking was great quality, heavy pan, egg cups have a little thumb grip that doesn't get…

Pros
  • Fits a lot of people

  • boring packaging

Does what it's supposed to do very well.

This little 2 man poacher does exactly what it's designed for and does very well. All parts came with the unit as described. It will probably take a few tries for some people to get used to how you want the eggs to look and get the egg consistency they want. Cooking my perfect eggs took just over 5 minutes, not 4 minutes as the instruction manual says. I covered the nonstick cups with a very thin layer of bacon grease and the eggs fell out of the cups leaving no egg marks. While the eggs were…

Good price - kitchen and dining room

I am happy with my purchase because this poacher worked as expected. The handle of the pan was warm but not hot. You'll definitely need an oven mitt to handle the lid as it gets hot, but as another reviewer pointed out, cook in a pan on the stove. Expect to use a pot holder or oven mitt. The instructions that came with my pan said to use cooking spray or oil in non-stick cups. The instructions also say to cook for 2-4 minutes until desired doneness is reached. I love fried eggs, and if like me…
