Disappointing transparent filament for 3D printing

Using this product, our team found that it was not up to par with other 3D printing supplies in the market. The transparency was poor and the prints had noticeable imperfections. The packaging did not adequately protect the filament, resulting in tangled spools. The product's price, advertised as "affordable," does not justify its subpar quality.

Pros
  • Affordable price
Cons
  • Poor transparency, noticeable print imperfections, inadequate packaging resulting in tangled spools.

Great thread for the price.

I have never used Gizmo Dorks filament so I didn't know how it would work. I bought this for a future quadcopter project as I have a regular Goto branded filament that I have been using for a long time and had high hopes that it would be a good filament. I used it to print a few pens for my printers and it worked really well. I used a 250C hotend and a 60C build plate with a glue edge and it stuck very well. I also use the PRINTinZ desktop. I will buy this thread again if needed and may…

Pros
  • Recommended print temperature: 230-240°C depending on printer model
Cons
  • Long delivery time

If you DO NOT NEED it, choose PLA

This is a good ABS when it comes to ABS. Unless you have a specific reason to print from ABS; However, you should avoid it. The difference in ABS and PLA printing is like driving a car with a joystick versus an automatic transmission. He's picky and this ABS is no exception. On a heated bed (110°C), with a head temperature of 238°C, with a raft over hairspray-soaked Kapton tape, I still had enough creases to ruin the print. Suspension from ABS, the same. Fast print speed (95mm/s), slow print…
