Gizmo Dorks PLA Filament For 3D Printers 3Mm (2 Review

Excellent material! My print cabinet is set up for 3kg spools and smaller (my old rig was set up for 8kg spools) so the reels wouldn't fit in my rack but hey ho no big deal to make it work properly?

The plastic is good, I have no complaints with either the line itself or the design of the spool on which it is installed. My only complaint is that I've had to deal with TWO entanglements so far. It's easy enough to cut the filament out of the printer, untangle, and reinsert the filament. But if you're planning a large-scale print, or running this on a huge machine that needs a constant supply of plastic, this can be a big problem. .

I have bought many 1kg spools since am Years ago from Gizmo Dorks, but I had a couple of large (50 hour+) prints and bought 2 rolls that large so I don't have to mess with changing filament. Between 20 and 30 hours the print quality dropped a lot (rough surface, spongy fill - symptom of moisture in PLA) and I had to throw the prints away (see photo) Tried my 2nd roll - had the same problem. I reprinted the same parts with Overture PLA and the results were perfect. Trying to return this item but
