The purchase brought only positive emotions.

They were on a Ford focus 2 sedan. Driving style is far from pensioner's fast starts from traffic lights, braking. The tires are really super, for 3 winters I have never regretted it. Holds the road perfectly, the snow is even nicer than asphalt rides. The front wheels are pulled into the snow porridge a little when turning (lateral drift), but this is when you try to turn at a yellow intersection at a speed, but everything is predictable. I would say that tires are not for reckless drivers…

Pros
  • Holds the road with a bang, with the transition from summer Nokian Hakka green to winter, driving style and speed do not change. On a snowy country road, like on dry asphalt.
Cons
  • In very snowy weather, when the snow turns into porridge, then in turns (in the metropolis) a slight drift is noticeable - it goes straight, but the drift is absolutely predictable and understandable.

In general, I am very pleased with the rubber, because. in Hong Kong, the winter is mild and mostly porridge after the reagents, then I go with pleasure, but when I wear down the tires I will look for something else. With this rubber, I want to have a magic button so that sometimes spikes come out of it. I almost never went on spikes, but with this rubber I started to think about something .

Pros
  • 1. On dry pavement - 5+, like on expensive summer tires. 2. On wet pavement - 5, passes puddles perfectly and slows down. 3. In deep snow - 5, rows well, there were no places from where I would not get out. 4. Keeps the winter track perfectly, by the way, it doesn’t float on dry pavement like many winter tires, I drive like in summer! Driving confidence is 100% BUT there is one BUT .
Cons
  • 1. On ice, I rate this rubber at 3+, it doesn’t seem to slow down so badly (abs helps), but it’s impossible to move up on a slippery hill, or even on ice near a traffic light, sometimes I had to turn the wheels on the spot, in general, she likes to scroll on the spot even on wet pavement (maybe I'm trying to start briskly, of course), but it seems to me that I'm to blame to a lesser extent!

205/55R16. Departure 2 winters. These are my first slippers. When I bought it, I was very afraid that I would throw money away. The fears turned out to be unfounded. Works great in snow porridge. The first two winters did not dig the parking lot, went purely on rubber. On wet pavement rides like dry. On the "black ice" they outperform spikes that slide with spikes on the asphalt. At the start, slippage, which studs sin, has practically disappeared. No complaints when driving on packed snow and…

Pros
  • + Quiet + Comfortable + Excellent paddling in snow and mud + Performed well on the ice + Excellent on wet pavement + Clearly keep a given trajectory + Less often at start the wheels slip + Car manufacturers calibrate ABS and ESP systems on non-studded tires + Do not spoil the asphalt by sawing ruts in it
Cons
  • - Sidewall is weak - Tire pressure must be monitored - During emergency braking at speeds over 60 km / h, in the first second it seems that the wheels do not brake

Very good for the southern winter (Hong Kong). They hold the road well on wet and dry pavement. It also drove through the snow with no problems. Before that there were Brigestone Blizzak Revo GZ. I didn't notice any difference between them in terms of handling. Goodyear is significantly quieter. On good pavement, the rumble of tires is not audible at all, only the sound of the wind.

Pros
  • Comfort, quietness, good handling

Good value for money, I recommend it.

185/65 front wheel drive. I will involuntarily compare it with the previous UG 500. For 9 years of operation, not a single spike remained in it, but on any surface it worked out for a solid four. And this rubber . in one word - slippery. The number of ABS activations has increased by an order of magnitude. On ice (well, this is understandable), but also on porridge, braking qualities and grip are disgusting. Let it go into a skid or side drift, how to do it. It behaves well only on dry, wet…

Pros
  • Price. Noise. exchange rate stability
Cons
  • Coupling properties. Lateral stability.

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

Always rode spikes from Nokian, Michelin, Gislavet. But many friends switched to Velcro. Decided to try. To be honest, the tenacious Goodyear surprised me sooooo. I thought the spikes and nothing more . In general, some pluses, as I wrote above. Break your prejudices. New technologies do not stand still. . Buy, you won't regret it! They do not advertise, I just decided to write that there are good things. Put on KIA ceed. R15.

Pros
  • Great tires! Tough, quiet, and very soft. The protector is excellent. They go everywhere. Follow the speed and everything is ok.
Cons
  • Didn't notice!

The product is usable, I expected a bit more.

Didn't live up to expectations. Before that, I went to the alpine Good Year Ultra Grip 7 made in Germany - the sensations on it are completely different, for the city of St. Petersburg - it was much better suited. This GOODYEAR Ultra Grip Ice 2 - made in Poland - and not for St. Petersburg with its frequent temperature changes from + to - and back . I can not say that this tire is a good choice price - performance. I can not recommend to buy and definitely would not take a second time. Total…

Pros
  • It’s normal for roads when the minus goes beyond 8 degrees and there is no ice roll - either a clean road or not deep snow on the road . quieter than studded, but Ultra Grip 7 was quieter, this one has a rumble at speeds over 60 . Relatively not high price for size 15/205/65. Holds the road well - if the brushed asphalt .
Cons
  • Wet ice at a temperature of about 0 -3 - bad adhesion to the road, rolled ice at traffic lights is also poor adhesion to the surface. On such roads, the car can easily skid or even turn around and take out into the oncoming lane if driving is not accurate. It feels like in positive weather - wear increases and roll appears than when temperatures are below zero. The tire looks like 2-3 seasons in terms of wear . Compared to the alpine Ultra Grip 7- average consumption has increased by 0.5 liters . with summer about 1 liter .

Chose from a large number of tires. I don’t understand why buy Michelin when there is an affordable option for 4-5 thousand per bottle cheaper? But this is purely my opinion. I picked up wheels for the winter for a very long time, read a lot of articles that they choose for my car, asked questions to my teammates and most often I was advised this position. So far, I have no regrets. They are really soft and float on asphalt. Wet braking is good. Oh yes, I drive a Skoda Octavia A5. I took the…

Pros
  • - Soft and Quiet. When I put it on the car, I was simply stunned by how it began to pass the junctions of bridges, speed bumps. Just a fairy tale, a completely different car. - Price. - Country of Origin. - A large number of tests in which this model took prizes.
Cons
  • - due to the fact that it is soft, I think it will last for 3-4 seasons. - worries about the board, as it is really thin. The guys at the service warned that he would be more careful with the curbs.

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

A full-fledged test has not yet been carried out, but I can say with confidence that it moves confidently on a frozen hill. When buying, I was guided by the Scandinavian tests, in which the tire won over the Continental ContiVikingContact 6. I used to go to the Continental and was very pleased, but Goodyear is very, very good! Let's see how the tire behaves in the snow. By the way, in the tests, excellent performance of the tire on dry and wet asphalt was noted .

Pros
  • Soft, quiet, sticky, XL is hard sidewall! Adequate price.
Cons
  • for a month and a half of operation did not find

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

Somehow, after a winter rain, frost hit and then it was covered with snow from above. I didn’t drive fast km, probably about 50-60 km / h and started to blow my face in a turn, but fortunately I reacted quickly and the electronics helped, everything worked out. This is the only time when I had a little doubt about the rubber. And it was already in the second winter or maybe in the 3rd, I don’t remember exactly. But winter is winter, you need to turn on your head first. Otherwise, I've been…

Pros
  • It is the softest and quietest tire I have ever ridden. Before her, there were Bridgestone close, and hakapelita 5
Cons
  • on icy snow and ice, of course, it does not behave very well, but in general this is expected.

I went to the Nokian Hakka 4, I got tired of the noise. I looked at the tests, this rubber is in first place with a non-studded Nokian. Production is not 2022, which is a huge plus. Reinforced sidewalls, at least for me. Hakku sold, bought this goodyear. I’ve been driving for 3 weeks - I’m delighted, the silence, the road keeps excellent, it also slows down perfectly, and the spikes are much better on wet asphalt. I recommend, although I have not ridden Velcro before.

Pros
  • Road holding is excellent, very quiet.

So far I have not been using rubber for a long time, but it feels very soft - which will 100% affect the strength of the rubber - whoever likes to ride on tram tracks and other places dangerous for wheels - get ready for cuts) But for an ordinary driver - super rubber! Quiet, grip holds well, on ice, the braking distance is predictably slightly longer than on slush. On dry asphalt at -10, like any soft Velcro, it doesn’t want to slow down much when braking hard

Perfect product for any user!

I decided to change my father's tires for Skoda Superb 2.0 TSI (200 hp) AT. Tire size: 225/45 R17 94T. Prior to that, last winter I used Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic (studs) 205/55 R16 94T, this year I regretted it a lot (I drove Skoda for about a month): endless slipping (you can calmly start moving only very smoothly); low directional stability at speeds from 120 km / h; very noisy (although it must be said that Superb has mediocre sound insulation). As a result, having doubts about the…

Pros
  • Excellent performance on asphalt and snow; excellent acoustic comfort; moderate price; soft, high quality rubber.
Cons
  • On ice, it will yield to studded tires, on icy conditions it is slightly worse than Nokian Hakka R2 (perhaps due to the drive to one axle - the front).

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I bought these tires for my favorite pink Matizik 12 years ago, my husband advised me to buy this model - Goodyear UltraGrip Ice 2 R13. It is important for me that the wheels are also pretty, I really liked the pattern on these tires))) They served well all this time, but when we went out of town in winter, I punched a wheel in a hole. My husband really barely found a tire shop where I had my tire replaced, everywhere they said that they don’t have this size, but I’m still happy with these…

Pros
  • Beautiful, well served))
Cons
  • Difficult to find for Matiz

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

There are probably better tyres, but for me this is the best experience (before I rode Dunlop with an asymmetric pattern). My first winter season on this tire was in 2022/2022. In St. Petersburg, the snow was not actually removed, as a result, there were snowdrifts, the road was heavily snowed, for the Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice 2 it was an indicative period, the tires proved to be very worthy. This rubber has two main indicators by which it tears all its competitors to smithereens, this is…

Pros
  • Handling, cross-country ability, lack of aquaplaning (in wet snow), very quiet and soft
Cons
  • I didn't find it for myself.

Pros below: Very quiet, very quiet. Grasping. For Hong Kong, knead porridge the very thing. For extreme lovers, go to the track or buy chains. Has some cons: There is none of them. I've never seen better tires. 12 years of driving experience. Even nokian DOES NOT COMPARE.

I bought two sets of this rubber at the end of 2022 (at the beginning of the season). One 205x55 R16 for Focus. The second 225x45 R17 Octaha. Both are made in 2022. In both cases, these are regular sizes and the rubber was on a regular casting. 16 tires for three seasons did not cause any trouble. The R17 kit was leaked after I was finally convinced that it was like a hydrogen airship - quiet, comfortable and beautiful, but only until the moment when it bangs. It's "when", not "if".

Pros
  • VERY quiet tires. Good grip. Clear steering. Well behaved in a rut. Especially does not swim at moderately positive temperatures. All in comparison with other Velcro.
Cons
  • Reliability in the size of 225x45 R17. This is a catastrophe. I've been driving for 25 years. During this time, I had 4 cases of tire sidewall damage to leaky hernias. Three of them - on this rubber for 2 with a little season. If I somehow attributed the first one to tram tracks (travel at a speed of about 10 km per hour), then the next two were obtained on ordinary St. on an unloaded vehicle. Moreover, the last dead wheel was not from the original set, but separately purchased to replace the dead one.

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

This comment refers to the operation of tires during the transitional period, since frost and everything that accompanies it has not yet arrived. In general, I am completely satisfied with the operation of these tires. There is confidence when taxiing, the tires are guaranteed to stop the car, but here it must be taken into account that I do not fly and my opinion is based on driving, taking into account physics and body position in space. After I changed my shoes from the summer Michelin…

Well done, but I won't buy any more.

In general, I'm satisfied. For many years I left with Velcro, and only after the winter of 2022/19, when all of St. And the next snowless year regretted it. Bought this tire. Operating conditions - Peter - these are temperature jumps of 15 degrees per day, snow in the morning, rain in the afternoon, frost with ice in the evening, uncleaned ring road, and the complete absence of any utility services. The car is light, Volkswagen Golf. On bare asphalt - by 5, controllability as in summer, and…

Pros
  • Excellent behavior on asphalt at any temperature, not bad in the snow, quiet.
Cons
  • On the ice as on skates, and the general feeling of some inhibition of control.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Rubber got with a run of 1 season from a friend who sold the car, I took mine on a spike, which I can’t stand. Changed vopchem. He always rode the Goodyear, I rode the Dunlop Graspik. Vopchem despite my skepticism about this rubber, she did not disappoint me. Size 205 55 16. I like to ride sharply and quickly, the car has been dropped by 5 cm and on the furious shocks from kyb. Rubber pleased with extremely rare and predictable demolitions, even when the weather conditions and coverage did not…

Pros
  • Grip, handling, silence, predictability
Cons
  • Behavior on ice, but this is typical of any Velcro. Doesn't like ruts.
