After correct installation, the lock works perfectly. I would advise the seller to include an installation video when sending a thank you email. That would save us a lot of disappointment. However, I like the features of this lock. Being able to set passcodes, send one-time codes, add family and temporary codes is great. I didn't feel like our home was safe when we walked our dogs or went for a jog. Now with the temporary lock feature, we don't have to worry about taking our house keys with us.

I installed a SMONET Smart Deadbolt Bluetooth Keyless to replace the Schlage bolt on my garage door. The Smonet fit in the existing hole (to the left of the Schlage distance), however a 10mm hole had to be drilled (shown on the supplied mounting template) to attach the top of the unit. EDIT 7/23/2021 The lock is broken AGAIN! Won't auto lock, codes entered won't work leaving people locked out and I'll turn that up and turn manual lock back on! Installation: Installation should have taken about 20-25 minutes but as I had a window frame overhang I had to file it down to get the lock bracket in and to fit. The whole time for me was 45 minutes and a lot of sweat. It wasn't her fault. The odd thing is that the inner mount of the lock is wider than the outer, so I didn't have to file anything for the outer mount.
