VERY disappointed in the product.

two fingers down! As much as I love the idea of this product, it just isn't reliable. It won't unlock when you enter the code (but it will!). The same applies to the application. Closes but does not unlock. It's a good thing there's a bunch of keys attached, otherwise they wouldn't let me in the house. Basically, it's just a cute latch that beeps when you touch the keyboard. After correct installation, the lock works perfectly. I would advise the seller to include an installation video when sending a thank you email. That would save us a lot of disappointment. However, I like the features of this lock. Being able to set passcodes, send one-time codes, add family and temporary codes is great. I didn't feel like our home was safe when we walked our dogs or went for a jog. Now with the temporary lock feature, we don't have to worry about taking our house keys with us.

Easy to install, easy to use and appears to be a solid construction. I would buy this again!

I installed a SMONET Smart Deadbolt Bluetooth Keyless to replace the Schlage bolt on my garage door. The Smonet fit in the existing hole (to the left of the Schlage distance), however a 10mm hole had to be drilled (shown on the supplied mounting template) to attach the top of the unit. The installation guide was adequate, but the English language was clumsy at times. I just downloaded the app to my iPhone, configured the app settings and set the keyboard passcode. Looks great, very durable. Very good quality for the price. I don't have Alexa so I didn't sync it. I just wish the Chinese would spend some money and hire someone who actually speaks English to write the instructions. I had to read the instructions multiple times and then guess what they were trying to say. Only after I had to call them because there were no instructions in the box. You could spend some money to translate the manual into English

Have you ever bought a product and the manual was written by a Chinese who doesn't speak English? That's what you get with this lock. The instructions are unclear and incomplete. The lock is also poorly designed. The application is terrible and in Chinese. In my opinion, the front door lock is an unnoticed hero that imperceptibly keeps thieves and fraudsters away. FUNNY AND DEAPPOINTED

EDIT 7/23/2021 The lock is broken AGAIN! Won't auto lock, codes entered won't work leaving people locked out and I'll turn that up and turn manual lock back on! There doesn't seem to be a single number to call if you need help, so you can't fix the problem right away. This lock has caused more trouble than it's worth! EDIT 7/6/2021 A new lock arrived but it didn't work so I just went back to my old manual lock and was done with it. The company contacted me and offered to do a video installation

Good product and support

Installation: Installation should have taken about 20-25 minutes but as I had a window frame overhang I had to file it down to get the lock bracket in and to fit. The whole time for me was 45 minutes and a lot of sweat. It wasn't her fault. The odd thing is that the inner mount of the lock is wider than the outer, so I didn't have to file anything for the outer mount. I drilled a hole in the door to fit the top screw (using the drill bit provided) but couldn't. Don't use the templates provided…
