Rowing. for sports

she wanted to try for a long time and lost access to the pool, but finally bought a pair (medium). They offer some sort of arm workout, but they don't cause any soreness or pain. Think of your body as a boat and paddle around it - they also lengthen your arm/hand a bit so you suddenly have more reach, like throwing balls. At first they were uncomfortable, but then I got used to them and use them every day.

  • some cons

I started swimming as another workout booster and I have to admit it kicks my ass every time, but I just kept getting better and my swimming instructor advised me to buy arm paddles to build strength. I love her! It was weird to use at first because you have to use the right angle when you swim, but they are great and help build strong shoulders to swim as long and far as possible.

Ideal for use in a float tube!

As one reviewer said, I'm not a swimmer but I used paddles for the first time yesterday. I love lying in a swim tube at Lake Tahoe and other nearby lakes and rivers. The problem is maneuvering where I want and not getting thrown ashore. I used my arms but my arms are barely long enough and not as big as the oars. These things worked great! I could dress in anything! Then I had some other (daughters) contact with me and I was able to move all of us. Very fun product!

  • Heavy duty finish

My favorite paddle

Hand paddles should be 10% larger than your hand. I'm between a medium to large glove. I bought the MEDIUM and they are the right size and work very well. They are flat paddles and work significantly better than contoured paddles. I liked them so much more than other brands I've tried that I ordered a second pair, LARGE SIZE to develop upper body strength and power. In my opinion, the size of the paddle you buy should not be determined by your hand size, but by your skill level, swimming styleโ€ฆ

I am satisfied.: Arm paddles

Paddles have never been used for training. I love these things. I don't mind pain after a workout or the next day. word to the wise. Go slow for a few days of training. They put a lot of strain on your shoulders and I feel like the shoulder might hurt. Start with caution and see what your body can handle. After using them for a week I can feel and see a difference in my arms/shoulders/upper back and chest. They are generously sized. The medium is more than big enough for my large hands andโ€ฆ

The quality of the adjustable strap is really good and durable

I bought these for my boyfriend and I to use while swimming. Based on the size of his hands I figured the big one would be just right (I knew they would be a bit big for me even though I have bigger hands for a woman) when I got them they weren't just that big for me, but they were also too big for my boyfriend. The quality of the adjustable strap is really good and durable. I found the bottom band to be in an awkward spot on my wrist/hand and my boyfriend seemed to agree as well. Overall theโ€ฆ

When ordering, the size of the paddle is indicated, not the size of the hand

Maybe everyone knew that except me, but S, M and L correspond to the size of the oar, not the size of the hand. I'm 6'0, 190 and can hit a basketball. I chose Large because I always get XL when I buy gloves. But as you can see, the helm overshadows my hand. I could choose M or S. IMO the blade size is closer to the desired drag. I've used paddles before so I knew what to expect. They seriously tire you out quickly. Don't expect to put them on and do 400 seconds unless you have great stamina. Iโ€ฆ
