The car is fine until it stops.

I took a chance on this welder because it had good reviews, it was a mistake. I had this welder for 2 months, then something broke inside during welding and the machine no longer arcs. Well, it's outside of Revain's return window and should have a one-year warranty. Well it's a joke! I emailed these people they asked me to send them a video of the machine not working ok ok then they want another video then they want me to use a decent piece of metal , and then they want me to change the ground…

This is a pretty good product

First I want to tell you that those who write the review are local: I'm 70 years old and I was a boiler welder for 35 years before becoming a partner in one of the largest specialized welding companies in the world. Well this is an amazing little unit, it actually runs 7018 3/32 at 110, a bit cold but it's a great weld, also I ran 2 coils of 10# Fluxcore .035 e81t11 when I was building a new suspension if you use it on 220 with adapter it works very well with 7018 1/8 and if used on mig with…

Let's play, guess the voltage

Haven't welded it yet but will update after I do. The first impression is not very good. Maybe mine is broken, but I can't see the tension. It only shows current so I have to keep looking at the chart (it's not attached to the welder) to see what it can be set to. The manual was clearly written by someone who is not a native English speaker. It constantly switches between metric and standard sizes. The cables and terminals look decent enough so there are no complaints. Update: According to the…

Experienced welder honest review

I took a risk, I thought it was risky to buy this welder, but the photos speak for themselves. I did a flux moment and stick mainly at 110v. The thing goes in the pants! Light weight and smooth operation. The only issue I had was the trigger sticking to the MIG gun, but that was easily fixed with sandpaper. IMO it's worth $300 for ease of use and fun welding. A great device for students and professionals who are looking for a cheap, lightweight welding device for professional work, it can do…

Great little welder!

These are literally the first seams I made with this welder on March 16th. I'm a professional welder, I've been welding for 18 years. This welder is a great value, it will do everything I need in my home business. I even put on some beads at 3/8 just to see if I could, it was a bit colder than ideal but it would definitely stick them together and look respectable. I even use .023 wire these days and haven't had any problems. I'll tell you right away that most of the negative reviews about it…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Loose

At first it looked promising.

Was very happy to receive this after a review on youtube which showed this MIG welder was the cheapest you could find with inductance control. The package arrived the next day. respect to the seller. It was neatly packaged with lots of cables. However, when it came to testing the features, it failed. Changing the 2T/4T value did absolutely nothing. In 4T, click and release once and the wire will come out continuously until you trigger the gun again. I ordered a second block and unfortunately…

Not perfect, but a very good welder. Even better for the price!

I looked at significantly more expensive machines before switching from TIG to MIG. I came across this car and the reviews were mostly positive, so I decided to give it a try. Very glad I did. This machine costs less than half of what I was planning to buy and it welds (almost) great. The only thing I think is that they really should have separated power and speed into separate dials. With this machine, it's impossible to turn one on or off without switching both at the same time. Welds (very…

Could be a contender!

I bought this unit primarily as a 110v repair/maintenance tool. I started testing in 110 mode and after getting used to the controls I started with both .030 and .035 to work flux cores. Both performed well, despite the lack of a synergistic setting for .030Stick mode was good, v 3/32 6013 and 7018 performed very well. Hot Start and Arc Force Control were comfortable. The problem occurred with solid wire/gas welding. It was just that the synergistic controls didn't work, large high-altitude…

Pros
  • Dual voltage input version: The welder can be connected to a dual voltage of 110 (120) V / 220 (230) V (automatic setting).
Cons
  • Crumpled

A good machine for beginners 3-1

Media could not be loaded. I originally got this welder as a flux cored unit but wanted a gas shielded pole option if I ever plan to go down that route. I am by no means a professional with many years of experience behind me. I'm just a beginner looking to build my own welding table and maybe get enough skills to weld a motorcycle frame. So I did a lot of research on what type of welder to buy. I've had a specialized cored wire welding machine in the past that was less than a few hundred, they…

Pros
  • Powerful machine: up to 200 amps of power, allows welding of sheet metal up to 4.0 mm (5/32 inch) thick.
Cons
  • Long delivery

Honest manufacturer opinion

I bought this machine new. I personally own and use several high end welders from Miller, Htp, Lincoln and Everlast. I have worked with the best welding equipment. Most of these devices cost several thousand dollars. Lately I've been on a mission to see how well a budget piece of hardware does the job. This is the second car I bought in this quest. The first of these was a sub $300 plasma cutter (Aimco Power Cut-50). I was blown away by how well this worked and was surprised to see over 250…
