The magnet fell out on the first day. Very disappointed!

I've been waiting for this set for several weeks and on the first day the magnet came out. It was only pulled out with larger adapter bits, which have higher magnetic permeability than a screwdriver. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that there was never any glue or fasteners. Maybe it should be, but for the money I don't have to worry about checking my driver after every replacement. Everything else is fine, but the magnet falls out. ruined it for me on day one. Update: I re-glued the…

Doesn't replace my screwdriver/drill/slam tool sets but complements them well. After purchase, I can mostly store my other tools in their respective beds. Simply practical for the home. You expect quality and performance from Wera. If you have no expectations from Wera, think of all the promises those crappy ratchet screwdrivers have made you in the past. Now imagine that those promises were actually kept. This is Vera. The only *minor* flaw I'd slap him for is that the blades aren't as…

Incredible screwdriver with a HUGE problem

I've been using this screwdriver at work for years and it has served me GREAT. It's as handy and handy as a daily screwdriver and probably the best screwdriver I've ever touched. There's one egregious problem that made me take two stars off my favorite screwdriver. The magnet inside the shaft falls out fairly easily after a few months of use. I'm not sure what they use to hold it in the chute but it doesn't cut it. I bought two of these drivers and both had the same problem of the magnet…

High quality durable tool

PROS: At the same time as I got this tool I got another similar screwdriver and I tested them, the one I bought at a local hardware store worked but it was a bit bent, but Wera was always strong and did her job. big torque. Cons: Magnetic tip, consistent batter, it's a great addition, it's a pain when trying to do precise work. It's so strong that it took me a little effort to guide it to the head of the screw, I had to use two hands. When used with one hand, the magnetic tip presses against…

In my opinion not up to the skills of Wera.

First of all I want to say that I am working on a collection of tools, all of which are Wera brands. I recommend this brand, I do not recommend this particular tool. I've used ratchet screwdrivers in the past and this wasn't the best I've ever used. The body of the bit is thought through to the smallest detail, but due to the location of this body in the grip, I flex a lot when tightening the screws. I have never accidentally pressed a button on the case. The ratchet has high "resolution" but…

One of the best ratchet screwdrivers I've ever used.

Wera! You damn well did everything right! * This screwdriver is very durable in hand. * The ratchet mechanism is very strong, most likely an all metal construction. * Of course I treat this instrument like a child and oil it, including the beats. Most tools and attachments will rust if exposed to moisture. Better get ahead of the service and the tool will return your loyalty and reliability. I expect this tool to last at least ten years, maybe longer. until you try and go beyond his rank. * I…

Almost perfect, but overall very good

I've wanted one of these for a long time, ever since I bought it from a friend. It was light, bits were stored in the handle in a way that they were orderly and not just put there like many others. The ratchet was smooth and overall hard to fault. However, after using mine for a few months, I've noticed a few things that make it far from perfect. Ratchet: The ratchet is smooth and great for finishing, but there is some play between wears. Maybe it's just me, but I have a bit of slack, if you…

Very good and comfortable. Better for larger devices

I'm an IT professional and do everything from desktop repairs to TV installations. I had an iFixIt electronic repair kit that worked great but couldn't handle large screws and was very large. Also, I tried to create a shared tool box since I was moving away from my parents house and needed my own tool box. I saw this and thought it would be great for any screws big or small. It worked great for large screws when hanging TVs, fans and pictures. I have used it for lawn mower repairs and many…

Really great tool as expected from Wera

Attractive and very hard-wearing. The handle has a larger diameter than a normal Wera screwdriver, but still feels relatively good in the hand. I don't like it as much as the thinner grips, but they deliver more torque due to the larger overall diameter. The button on the back hasn't even unintentionally opened the handle on me in the past year, but it's easy to press and release to access saved beats. The button needs to be depressed approximately 3mm (⅛ inch) to open the latch in the handle…
