Maybe better with a set of shovels and.

Good for drilling stumps, but most 1/2 inch drill bits won't drill through green stumps. It might be better to use a set of tips and an extension. My white Makita 18v drill bit went through an old but sturdy tree stump and did it with ease. I switched to the most powerful hammer drill and it only does it 8 inches deep in the green frame stump.

Works well with larger drill motors

I drilled a 3/4" hole in several layers of 2x4 and decking to run the Cat6 cable through. Cut very well. I would not recommend using a hand rest as it will take a lot of effort and time. Also, do not try to use a cordless drill as this bit requires a lot of torque. Your drill should also have a second handle. Use a slower cutting speed, around 500 rpm. As for the manufacturer's claim that it cuts through nails, I'd be surprised if it did and retained its cutting edge as well. It's for a tree…

Large Auger

Of course this required a drill with adequate power, but I used this drill to drill a few holes in 10" docking posts with ease. , so I'd advise making sure to turn it inside out when drilling from time to time; It's a lot easier than suddenly stopping him and twisting his wrists/arms. A variety of woods I've used it on. The starting screw on the front makes it very easy to start a hole instead of running all over the material. It comes in a nice reusable storage tube; together so you can put it
