Type of review

Very quiet on pavement, you can't hear the spikes at all. The sidewalls are quite solid, although I often meet reviews that bumps climb when hit. They ride confidently on the ice. On dry and wet pavement, too. I think there will be no prolong on snow. The balance didn't disappoint either. Size 265/60 R18, Jeep Grand Cherokee. I took for 9000 / piece

Pros
  • Quiet, not overly expensive
Cons
  • Haven't found yet

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Hello, I would like to share my positive experience of using Gislaved NordFrost 200 rubber. From the very first days of using this rubber, I noticed its colossal noiselessness! Believe me, there is something to compare. There are 3 cars in the family, one of them has a Nordman 5, On the second brichstone, so they howl straight, it seems that something is not working properly in the car! In a word, heaven and earth. Just wanted to mention its excellent stability on the road! It doesn’t matter if

Pros
  • Definitely worth the money, very good value for money
Cons
  • Didn't find

I put Demio on the Mazda, aka Mazda 2, front-wheel drive, skated 10 or 15 thousand during the winter, mainly in the city, but there was also an intercity. My driving style is calm, with the speed of the flow. Snow this winter in Hong Kong was twice the norm, if not more, ruts on the roads, porridge in the yards - never got stuck. Either she confidently crawled forward with slipping, or she drove back along her own track. By noise: while I was driving it, it didn’t seem to be noisy. But when I

Pros
  • Predictable behavior when starting, turning, stopping, on ice, in snow, in mud, on asphalt Rows well on snow porridge After the winter, the spikes are in place: in the spring I examined one tire - I found only one lost spike Strong enough. Although I put it in the hole only once, but so hard that I thought that the tire was over. But not even a small hernia remained
Cons
  • I don't remember any

Nothing unusual, a normal product.

To be honest, I'm at a loss) apparently those who write laudatory reviews of this rubber never drove normal . Before this rubber, they skated on studded Michelin X-ice for 4 years, but it was noisy, but not very rut (MKAD), but in the city there were simply no problems in any weather. Gislaved is just something. I don’t remember at all, in principle, that the stabilization system worked so often on a car (Skoda Octavia A5, tires 195-65-16). When starting it leads, when accelerating it leads…

Pros
  • price, good rowing in the snow
Cons
  • stabilization often works on ice, it makes decent noise even after running in

Here's an excerpt from Gislaved's promotional material: "Compared to the outgoing Nord Frost 100, the new model has an optimized shoulder for increased performance and a V-shape that allows water, snowmelt and slush to be quickly ejected to prevent hydroplaning." I warn you, if the left side of your tires is V, then the right side is L! right and left wheels for this DIRECTIONAL, ASYMMETRIC rubber - NO!

Pros
  • Compared to my old Nordman4, the rubber is very soft to the touch.
Cons
  • no left and right wheels

The purchase is a failure, very unhappy.

It brakes much worse than the previous Hankook Winter i*Pike. During the winter of 2022/2022, I got into situations several times that I didn’t have time to slow down, which never happened in 3 winters on the previous tires. Each time the speed was no more than 60, it started to slow down in advance During the winter, 2 spikes from each wheel disappeared. Rubber 215/65/16

Pros
  • quiet the car handles better than the summer Hankook Optimo
Cons
  • does not slow down on snow porridge

I bought Gislaved Nord Frost 200 tires for rear-wheel drive (VAZ 2104), in general I am satisfied with the tires, they justify their price. The spikes are not enough and they themselves are small, you can hear that the studded tires are only if the car is well loaded, how well the spikes hold - I don’t know, I didn’t drive a lot of six thousand km, while everything is in place, Starting and braking on asphalt is excellent, on ice is also acceptable, on loose snow, the rubber blurs, in corners…

Pros
  • Tires are not noisy Good braking
Cons
  • Snow handling

The second season of operation of these tires on a Lada Kalina car has passed, in two seasons the mileage of these tires was a little less than 30,000 km, the impressions are mostly positive, in terms of price-quality combination I consider this model the best choice, a fairly low noise level, 4 were lost in two seasons -5 spikes on each wheel.

Pros
  • Predictability, reasonable price
Cons
  • mediocre braking on ice

Tires in operation 3 seasons. Bought in 2022 in size 225/60/R18 on X-Trail T31 Dci AWD. Rubber is operated daily in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong region (50/50). He behaves everywhere very average. It does not forgive the reassessment of opportunities, and there are not so many of them, but it “punishes” smoothly, makes it possible to “correct”. It is noticeably inferior to its "big brother" (copied from Continental) in terms of driving performance, and significantly outperforms it in wear…

Pros
  • Quiet on all types of coverage, especially after running. Clear enough, confident taxiing and well-predictable behavior. Wear resistant. It behaves well on asphalt, rows on loose snow, clings to any surface "at the start".
Cons
  • Very mediocre braking performance on ice, loose and packed snow. Strong aquaplaning in both water and "porridge" in a very wide range of speeds.

I used to be skeptical about this brand: little was known (to me personally). But it turned out to be more interesting: Gislaved was originally a Swedish company, a pioneer, along with the Finnish Nokian, in the production of studded tires. In 1992, it was bought by the German concern Continental, and since 2022, production has been opened in our Hong Kong region. This model is new for 2022, but to some extent, I personally am already familiar with this tire. When choosing, the main and most…

Pros
  • - Price quality, - low noise in the presence of spikes, - soft, - fresh, production since 2022
Cons
  • Not detected.

I don't want to spend my money on this item.

I bought it, drove smoothly for two weeks on a dry road, it was run-in. Then I drove along the M7 highway in wet weather with light rain and snow (no puddles) and was surprised by the unstable behavior of the car on the road (the car periodically scours), before that there were Nord Frost 5 with a symmetrical directional pattern, no such problems were noticed. Perhaps this is due to the direction of the Nord Frost 200 tread pattern (on the left side of the machine - as expected, the V-shaped…

Pros
  • Good grip on ice and packed snow
Cons
  • Poor handling on wet roads

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

With its pros: Quiet, soft, good studding. Drawing by Continental ContiIceContact. Good grip on any road - snow, ice, porridge, dry and wet asphalt Has cons: not found. The sensitivity to the track was cured by adjusting the toe-in.

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

Having traveled on spikes from other manufacturers, I got used to the growing sound of spikes when braking and cornering. There is no such sound here, everything is quiet and it seems that the tire will now go skidding, but no, it slows down and goes into turns and, moreover, very reliably. If you do not get ahead of the braking moment and do not crush it insolently, then the car stops quickly without slipping. With sharper braking and working with the brakes “insolently”, there is a slight…

Pros
  • Good day to all. This is my first review, so please don't judge too harshly. I decided to write a review about the purchased new studded winter tires Gislaved Nord Frost 200 suv in size 225/55R18. I drive a Mitsubishi Outlander. The beginning of winter for the region of the Far North this year turned out to be incomprehensibly warm, so I put the tires on only by the end of October and the run-in took place on asphalt, when the daytime air temperature did not exceed +3 degrees. I immediately noticed that the tires are very quiet. At first I attributed it to a low speed during the break-in, but after passing the first 300 km and increasing the speed limit to 90 km / h, the noise practically did not change. By and large, the noise is a little more than in summer. The first sleet and minus that same evening, in principle, showed all the possibilities of the selected tire. On an icy track, the tire behaves very predictably. There are no hints of the car walking along the lane, braking and acceleration are clear, without breakdowns and slips. Long turns are confident, it is clear not at speed, as in summer, but only 10-15 km / h lower. On snow porridge, the indicators are also on the level, it holds, diverts, and slows down well. When braking with one side in the porridge and the other on packed snow, there are small, barely noticeable complaints about directional stability, which you feel yourself, having driving experience, but which the directional stability system does not even have time to feel. I tried to get under way when leaving the yard, in front of the “asphalt speed bump” and, accordingly, full coast, either on the front-wheel drive, with the connection, or with the lock - no difference. The only thing is that a small "shirk" is heard on the front-wheel drive and the car went to pick up acceleration. Therefore, I drive on the front wheel drive, without any connections.
Cons
  • The only thing that upset me was the lateral drift during a sharp turn, at about a speed of 35-40 km / h (to have time to slip through the m / y cars into the turn). At the same time, the demolition is carried out by the whole machine, and not by axles, which in turn pleased me a little. He began to write off that the spikes had not yet come out enough, then that the spike was smaller than that of the Continental itself . but in the evening, returning from the central part, in the same place without oncoming cars, he did the same. The car slightly scratched with spikes almost calmly entered the turn. At first I did not understand what the trick was, then it dawned on me - in the evening the tires were warmed up for 26 km from the central part. In general, you need to be more careful in your desires to slip into the cold, although it is clear that everyone is in a hurry to get to work, schools, kindergartens, etc. in the morning.

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

I do not want to recommend something to anyone, I write only my subjective feelings and opinions. I’m not going to argue with someone why I don’t think the way I wrote, I don’t agree - it happens that this is your opinion, but I have my own, please don’t prove something to me. In general, I bought a new 205/55 R16 for Golf 5, I drive an automatic, so I decided to buy tires with spikes, before that I also had Gislaved only Nord Frost 5. I decided to buy 200 because it looks like ice contact…

Pros
  • quiet, good snow shoveling, handling on dry and wet pavement
Cons
  • drives a little on an icy road

Tires were purchased in size 175 / 65R14 for a Lada Kalina car, the mileage per season on these tires was about 12,000 km, the disadvantages include insufficiently effective braking on ice and driving in deep snow, but at the same time within the normal range, it cannot be said that everything is bad. Of the advantages of a strong sidewall, predictable behavior in the city and on the highway, the noise from the spikes is negligible. During the season, 1-2 spikes were lost on the front wheels…

Pros
  • -low noise level -price
Cons
  • - braking on ice

I bought this rubber in early November, ran it around 500-800 km, as it should be, and felt all the delights of the new rubber. Very satisfied with the purchase!

Pros
  • Quiet rubber, holds well in ice, easily gets out of the rut, slows down perfectly (even with emergency braking)
Cons
  • Not detected

Drove less than 2022 km Rear wheel drive car As you can see in the photo, the spikes on the 2 rear wheels went into the tire, respectively, the spike does not work even under load. On the front, as if now they will jump out of the seat Judge for yourself from the photo (1 photo for comparison with the front wheel) I would not recommend Gislaved to my friends in principle

Pros
  • Not noisy
Cons
  • They are not wealth
